Front desk staff consistently friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Some might find five stars for a Super 8 amusing, but this property fit our needs perfectly. Besides the picturesque setting with its paved walkway along the channel, it was easy walking distance to the Ranger III for travel to Isle Royale National Park. Only a bit more walking reached downtown restaurants such as The Library, where we enjoyed two dinners. The beds and shower were good, and breakfast service started at 5:30 a.m. Front-desk personnel were helpful.

Was a good stay! Not in the downtown hustle, very quiet. Nice views and nice walk uptown for dinner.
Decent place to stay, but the bathroom was small with the sink outside.
Hotel location perfect, close to all the beaches in the area, room nice and clean. Only downfall is the breakfast, only cereal and hard-boil eags.
Enjoy a Mich Tech reunion weekend, with may hikes and stops along the Keewenah peninsula
Scenic location on the water, large pool, well run hotel. The rooms are nothing luxurious but they are spacious and as expected for the price point. Would recommend!
