The motel sits on a beautiful waterway with walking and biking trails. We were disappointed in the lack of housekeeping attention to our room.

The hotel needs updating. The room smelled like the sheets and pillowcases hadn’t been changed.
Nice view of the waterway with a paved path leading a few blocks to the downtown area. Very nice setting. I was disappointed to find no USB charge ports in the room but fortunately I had chargers and there were available outlets. Had a non-functional card reader on the room door at checkin and needed to make two additional trips to the front desk to try to resolve it. The person staffing the front was helpful and pleasant though and she eventually sorted it out.

Not my best stay. 1st thing. I did not get the Accessible Room AKA Handicapped room I booked. 2. The bathtub had hair and some kind of slimy scum on it. 3. At midnight I couldn't take the noise of the TV in the next room. They had it on MAX volume all day. I had earplugs in, bathroom fan on and the AC running and the base from the TV was vibrating the bed. Text the # at 12:09 AM and they finally got back to me at 12:33 AM asking if it had quieted down yet. Had she walked down to the room she would had known that it did NOT. So tired the next morning I had to leave instead of doing the family outing that was planned to Copper Harbor. The worst $318.00 for 1 night that I have ever spent on a hotel. PS. I would have complained to the front desk prior to leaving but she was on the phone for at least 10 min. complaining about another worker to someone.
