Nice cabin. Access drive hard to find in the dark. Area behind cabin standing water and mud. Lucky to have no pets or little kids.

I traveled with a coworker and we stayed in one of the "cabin" rooms. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. They have contactless check in which was nice, they email you the code to your room a day in advance. The free wifi was great. Our room was as clean as can be expected for its condition. Unfortunately the property needs some work. Our room smelled strongly of mildew/mold so we tried to spend as little time there as possible. The ceiling and tops of the walls seemed to have some damage, especially in the bathroom.

We stayed upstairs at the unit. The room itself was very nice and clean. The bathroom was located right next to the bed which I liked. However, there were several steps to climb to get to the room. But it had a nice country feel to it - very charming!

Great owner well maintained

We had a great stay in Lodge B. It was easy to check-in, check-out, place was nice (clean, cute, cozy, fridge, hot water and great water pressure for a nice shower post hiking). It wasn't far from Arcadia and worth the cheaper rate as most of the other resorts aren't right downtown Bar Harbor anyway and cost sometimes double the price. We didn't get to play cornhole or volleyball, but we wanted to and liked that the inn had a good space for family or people winding down after a day exploring the mountains.

This was one of the worst accommodations I have ever stayed at in the USA. No staff on site. Security is non existent. Non contact check in was a disaster. I was able to unlock the door of a cabin that was assigned to other patrons. The maid showed up and did not even realize that it was in the wrong room. I finally got to the correct room that I had paid for. Bedspreads were @ 45 years old, soiled walls in need of paint, drawers in dressers had crumbs and debris and looked too dirty to use. We were supposed to have daily maid service. There was NO SERVICE, not even emptying the trash or changing towels. There was a change of ownership right after I reserved this accommodation. Do not stay here! It is disgusting and the owners are absentee in Hawaii and Eastern Europe. It was a complete joke but not funny.The best thing about the room was the flat screen TV. Our supposed kitchenette consisted of a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. There was no sink, no supplies, tools or decent plates. Plastic bread plates and silverware. Of course we will never return.

The cottages were so nostalgic and comfortable. The property was perfect for relaxing after a day in Acadia!

Our room was unique but very cozy. Convenient to dining and things to do in Bar Harbor. We never saw or heard any other guests the whole 3 days we were there even though the facility was full which we could tell by the cars. We left about 8 am each morning to explore things on the island but returned about 6 pm.

It's an old mom and pop style motel with cabins and rooms. It is very clean. Some old style furniture but very comfortable bed. 10 minutes from bar harbor.
