Beautiful room, large comfortable bed. Good breakfast! Dinner was delicious. Decent pool and chairs to relax in. Good shower with hot water. The staff was wonderful, Javier was so helpful. It was great to be able to enjoy the property while waiting for our room, and also before our flight. The landscaping is really beautiful too!

La plage de la piscine est à refaire, c’est limite dangereux. La moindre consommation est très chère pour le pays.

Lovely tropical gardens and a rustic feel, although on the outskirts of town it was easy to arrange a taxi in. Initially we had one night booked at the end of a jungle safari but I had to cancel this due to illness, and luckily was able to book another 3 nights here prior as we needed to see a doctor in town. The staff were great and helped organise taxis daily into town for money exchange and to go to the dr and pharmacy. We stayed in the big bungalow 3 nights (had a big tv and a kitchen) and a standard room the last night. After a good walk around Puerto Maldonado town I would say this would be one of the best places to stay, an oasis away from the fumes of the city. The breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day. Filtered water is provided to top up your water bottles and you can help yourself to hot tea throughout the day. Nice cocktails available with dinner and you could grab a beer from the reception fridge when you wanted. I enjoyed 2 out of 4 of the evening meals but the food was a bit hit and miss. I did really like the Uncucha meal, an Amazonian root served 3 ways (vegetarian option). Day trips could be easily organised via whatsapp and we enjoyed the Lake Sandoval afternoon trip and Lake Yacumama sunset trip. We also took a taxi to the Amazonian wildlife refuge/rehab centre which I recommend.

I felt the restaurant meals were over complicated and would have preferred more local cuisine options. Meals are served on cold stone plates which look impressive but which makes the hot food cold. One meal was mediocre (pasta and chicken) and another (creamy rice) was too salty and had too much going on and we couldn’t eat it. Also, while the online pictures show a “new” looking resort it is a bit tired in places especially around the pool. The decking could do with replacing.

Struttura bellissima e accogliente. Nel mezzo della foresta amazzonica. Le camere con terrazza sono completamente immerse nella vegetazione, cosí come la piscina e la reception. Molto buona la colazione
