Location was PERFECT! Fellow travers and hotel staff were all nice :) Brought my extremely loud toddler and nobody complained 🥹

The tile floor was way harder than I liked, but my daredevil son wouldn't chill so that's really on us, not yall <3

Parking lot some times difficult to find a spot

We rented an apartment for the night! We rented a room before and it wasn’t bad for the cost! We were told by someone doing maintenance work at the motel that there was only one other room rented at the motel for the night. Around 8:30 PM we started hearing some loud voices out side our room but we were watching TV and didn’t think about it! At 10:30 as we started to go to bed we heard more loud voices out side our room on the patio. I looked outside to see about twenty males on the patio and they going in and out of the apartment next to ours that had not been rented when came in to watch TV at 8:30. They continued to be loud for about ten minutes so I went to office to request a room change! As I walked to the office I walked through the small parking lot our car was parked in and the lot was now full and cars were blocking our car in. It was definetly a safety hazard. I spoke to a male at the desk who later told me he was the manager and asked for a room change. Instead of letting us make the change he felt compelled to notify whoever rented the room that I was there complaing about the noise. At this point I didn’t feel safe staying there and didn’t think my car was safe because the “manager” had ratted us out to whoever rented the room . I told the “manager” I would be calling a decision maker in the morning to ask for a refund and he put me on the phone with the owner. The “owner” told me he would only give me a partial refund because I had spent part of the day there! I told the owner his “manager” created a situation where I didn’t believe my wife and I were safe and I should get a full refund but he wanted to argue with me! We left at this time as the mob that had gathered had cleared out (apparently they rented the room to someone who rented it so his buddies could hang out there according to the “manager”). I had to drive two hours to get home and this experience ruined two days for my wife and I. I highly recommend you stay anywhere but this place because the “manager” and “owner don’t care about your safety or treating customers right!
