Blue Seal Inn

We arrived and the man at the counter charged us $15 more on top of our prepaid stay he said it was a cleaning fee. This was not disclosed on Expedia. Our room was very basic with old India looking sheets and a flat sheet. Bed was hard as a rock. The bathroom did not have any bath towels so we had to ask for some on arrival. We had about 1/4 of a toilet paper roll in the entire room. We had to ask for more toilet paper as well. Within an hour of arriving, we had the weird front counter man knock at our door. He wanted to show us how to operate the tv on the wall. This man is a penny pincher and if you’re looking for a super cheap basic room, this is the place to stay. We did not feel safe at all. I would never stay here again.

Was surprised with a “hotel fee” that needed to be paid to the desk person upon arrival - on top of the room & tax fees we paid thru the Hotels.com app. I’ve used Hotels.com for approx 20 years & have never had to pay a “hotel fee”. Once in our room, rug was VERY stained & the bathroom door had a hole kicked in it. Walls were thin & most of TV channels were “audio only”. will not stay here again.

The reception guy was very helpful.

The nanager is very nice. We have srated 3 times and will continue to book with them in the future. The only down part is there was no cable.

All was good. Slat missing in front window so privacy was not great but all in all. Ok place to stay

Room wasn’t ready at 3 had to sit n my car and wait and ice machine was broken and shower head was filled with soap scum

Close to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel mgr was very accommodating allowing us to check in early and gave us his personal parking space. 👍 The pool was closed for repair, there was no continental breakfast and there were cigarette buds and ashes in the nightstand drawers. No screen on the bathroom window which was open. 👎

Unable to check in or reach hotel Manager via number listed. Had to book another hotel.

Don the manager is an amazing man. Goes out of his way to make your stay perfect. Newly remodeled rooms with A/C Perfect location!!
