Blue Seal Inn

The blue seal inn isn’t our normal 5 start resort, but we live staying here with the kids. It’s very simple and a great location. I’ve stayed here numerous times. For the price and location it’s great. The rooms aren’t super fancy but they are normal. The staff is always helpful. The price is great for what you get ! I will be staying here again as always.

When they say you get what you paid for this is what they mean! The beds were so uncomfortable that my whole family woke up sore. The room smelled funny and the carpet was so dirty with stains and there was a hole in the bathroom door. I will never stay here again.

We got to the hotel around 11pm and there was no one there to check us in. I called various times and the phone is disconnected. We had to find another place to sleep.

The rooms were not at all what I expected. There were stains/spots on the sheets and shower curtain, the blinds were broken, the bathtub had a rusted hole in the bottom and the plugger was broken so we switched rooms. Same with the second room. Stains and broken plugger, then were told we needed to pay an extra amount for the switch.

It’s a nice place for the price

Was a nice room for the night but some of the towels were not very clean and shower rod kept fall off! Other than that it’s a clean bed

Had to be careful when using the toilet, it was so loose at the base that it felt like it was going to tip over and the door would not close.Also had some neighbors who decided to hold a party that kept us up.

location

The location is great, very close to the pier. Everything else about the property was trash. Our room wasn't very clean, even a pile of sawdust on the floor. The bathroom door handle was broken & turned in a complete 360. Obvious it had been that way for awhile. We couldn't fully close the bathroom door because of this & had to use a toiletry bag to prop it shut. The advertised pool was empty & the advertised breakfast wasn't offered. They said due to Covid, but our hotel the 5 nights before had a full breakfast. Definitely don't recommend this hotel.

Tiny room with just the basics. Recently remodeled so it looks decent, but the outside was a little noisy, and the TV remote didnt work. OK room for the price, compared to others in the area.
