"Beautiful, historic setting with all the modern comforts you need, this hotel is a unique gem."

Everything was spotless. The lobby area was so welcome and the beautiful bar area with music floating out was a special touch. The beds were extremely and the staff was excellent - every single one we encountered from the front desk to the valet to the bartender to our waitress Aimee and other staff of Uno to the very helpful housekeeping staff.

Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend. Wished the coffee was out thoughout the dav.

Very close to Old Town Winchester, both room and bathroom were large spaces. Water pressure was excellent

"A beautiful, historic hotel."

We loved this hotel! Had had a tough day driving from Vermont, car trouble, trucks, etc. How wonderful to check in with friendly staff, and get into a beautiful and quiet room. Although there was a restaurant in the hotel, we opted to walk two blocks to the pedestrian street and eat great food outside on the mall. The difficult first day of driving was gone! Thanks for offering such and great hotel experience!

We were staying at the GW to attend a wedding and it was nice to have all our friends and relatives there. Great breakfast and helpful staff. The room was nice and had everything we need and it was quiet ....

The GW has a nice lounge/bar in the lobby with a fireplace with comfy seating. However, there were musicians there both nights who were kinda hard to listen to and the music was waaaay too loud.

Nice location

We live locally, I rented a room to let my children swim. The pool left chemicals burns all over my children, they refused to get in the pool again because it burned so bad so it was kinda a waste. I informed the front desk and they said someone would reach out. It’s been weeks and I’ve heard nothing. While checking out others also we’re having the same issues.

"A great place to stay."

Great place to stay in this area. Close to the downtown pedestrian only zone with bunches of restaurants and shops. An old building that has been restored to the modern amenities. But the querks are still there. One can hear the toilet being flushed and the shower water running in the adjoining rooms beside and above.
