Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa

Staff, resort location and choice of pools make this resort. (Hot Tub would be nice) Our room was worn & dated and didn't match the advertised pictures. ex: older tub and worn and dirty deck cushions (bird dropping and sun faded). Saddy the beach swing set had a broken seat, it looked sad. The 3 restaurants are nice especially the buffet breakfast and drink menu which had excellent selections. The Lobby is VERY busy, and you will have to wait to chat with a staff member. We requested an early check in 12 noon but didn't get in til 3:00 as advised. We were alittle disappointed with the water at the beach, dark and cloudy but understand this is natural.

The staff were insanely wonderful. Cannot say enough good things about every single one of them. So nice and accommodating and nothing was a problem. The facilities were good too (restaurants/bars etc).

Unfortunately we initially got put in the room closest to the foyer/concierge, which was very loud and not the cleanest. To their credit, they moved us to a much better/cleaner room down the other end of the resort when I told them the issue, no questions asked.

I liked the location and the pools including the adults only Koro area was amazing. Beachfront rooms have amazing views

A bit run down for the price of the accomodation definitely pay extra for a beachfront room

The resort was great, had everything you needed. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, the variety of food was great. Best part of the day. The only downside for us was the pillows, I suffer with my neck and the pillows didn't do it for me - too soft! That's a me problem though. We also used the spa which was a good experience. I had a massage and facial. Both were lovely. Overall, the week was great and would return. For us it was a total relax and we didn't do much at all

Pillows and also in the bathroom the toilet door didn't shut completely which we didn't like. Was a sliding door that went from left to right to cover either the shower or toilet. Neither totally shut, shower wasn't a problem but we like privacy in the toilet.

Mouldy and cockroach infested rooms which are health hazards to guests. When problems were raised with front of house manager (Walid), he claimed that roaches are a normal part of being in a resort...completely ignoring the obvious cleaning and maintenance issues (where wooden fixtures in the bathroom are rotting from leaks). On top of this there are impact drilling and construction noises starting from 7:45AM right above guest rooms as well as the adult only pool/breakfast area (marketed as a quiet enjoyment precinct). I also have an email that the General Manager accidently forwarded to me, where she sent false information to Hilton corporate to try cover their shortcomings, and attempting to insinuate I am complaining about mould to get a refund. It is no wonder this resort is in shambolic condition when senior management is incapable of taking constructive criticism...

Dear Hilton family you really be ashamed of yourself and maybe find a way to pay more attention to the properties that represent your name. This is the second Hilton I booked in a month and the second time I had to complain to the front desk. Our cushions were so dirty you couldn’t even sit down on them. The bathroom had mold in it and honestly when you pay $1600 a night in FIGI don’t think you should have either of those problems. The hotel lobby is so underwhelming. It’s shocking how bland it is. The staff is lovely from the front desk to the bartenders to the Waitstaff and The duty manager. they couldn’t have been more gracious to us. Unfortunately, I am going to move on and never book a Hilton again there are plenty of other options in FIGI and Tahiti that were so much nicer and so much less expensive than what I selected. I hope this review encourages someone to rethink booking here.
