Wonderful service from melania,paola, ada, mami and santos. The gril from the office Lisbeth needs to learn more custumer service. Hotel is very pritty but needs more higien.

No tv in room. Dinner and lunch meals were expensive. Staff was nice except the receptionist lady who also never returned my overpay before i left

Stongly recommend the Tarzan Casa. Waves crashing all night. Best sleep I've had!

Basically oversold rooms n tried to deprive me of room I booked thru series of bait n switch tactics; I've stayed here b4 n wouldn't have again except I saw the treehouse penthouse with seaview was available (cool looking open-air structure in private area overlooking small pool, w glimpses of ocean n greenery as far as u can see);When I arrived, they tried to put me in a different treehouse in main pool area, which I know is noisy w music from bar, etc;Owner said he thought I would like smaller room since I was alone(Yes, I am a woman traveling alone); I asked for room I reserved, which I then got; Later, they ask me to switch rooms because a big group is coming on my last day (n thought I would be more "comfortable");They showed me the penthouse level of a treehouse next door, similar seaview room, so I agreed. On last day, owner asks me to 'help him out' and take another room on 2nd floor;Should have told him to go fly a kite but agree to do so in exchange for dinner - not that I need one, mind u, but am feeling helpful; I see the room n turns out he tried to give me a small box of a room w shared terrace; Even if I had known there were 2 rooms on floor (I did not) he had clearly pointed to larger terrace next to it; I told him the room was not acceptable n left irately for lunch as I'm fed up; I return n they had moved me to a room on the first floor! Called Expedia n he tells them he put me in similar room next door;Flat out lie! Didn't take any meal n left ASAP in a.m.

Such a beautiful place! Extraordinary attention by the staff. Good and healthy breakfasts. Definitively will stay again on the next trip to Dominican Republic.

We booked a great room, the Giant Penthouse Crouse, but I accidentally reserved for only (2) adults. After receiving our confirmation I noticed the error and contacted Travelocity to add the correct number. I was connected to the hotel directly but due to an apparent poor connection and a receptionist that only spoke Spanish, I was not able to make the change. No problem I thought, as the room can sleep (7) and I had a confirmed quote for added adults and kids. Upon arriving we were given (3) options: 1) pay an additional $840 for the 2 nights ( which was way over the quoted added person price), 2) leave and take a refund ( not possible due to other hotel availability during peak season), 3) Stay with the the original 2 adults but take a lesser room, no partial refund. We ended up staying in our original room with the extra people and paying an additional $600 ( still a lot more than the quoted price). Other than this particular troubling treatment from management, most of us enjoyed our stay (turned out to be a little to rustic for my wife who prefers the more traditional resort vacation).

A truly unique accommodation. It was a two story tree house with unsurpassed view.

Excellent location far from the noise of the city, All you hear are the waves. The beach is right by the hotel garden, with a surf spot that works from time to time. The rooms are either wide open with just curtain and mosquito nets or semi opened or fully closed. Very original and pleasant. Service is great and very friendly. Very secure location

The rooms are nice , with great views. However the aren't completely clean (e.g. Dirty floor and hammocks smelled) and the facilities mentioned on the website don't exist. There also wasn't much food and drink available during my stay, maybe because it was off season (e.g no fish , no drinking water)
