Wonderful friendly place

This is a really nice property with excellent food. Some of the staff are very friendly while others are down right rude.

Can't really understand all the rave reviews. Hotel was fine, but I wouldn't say anything special. Then again, we weren't skiing, so perhaps didn't appreciate the location right next to the ski lifts. Bathroom small, had no toothbrushes when we asked. Cleaning staff burst in without knocking at one point. Our room had view into car park despite being called "mountain view". The again, nothing particularly egregious either. Just don't necessarily believe the super high rating. If I go back to Kitzbuehel, I'd definitely try somewhere new.

Extremely well located directly next to the Hahnenkammbahn and the nursery slope of the Roter Teufel ski school. By all means a very good hotel. I gave it "only" four stars as there are small areas of improvement to make it really outstanding (see below). While no item alone is enough to knock off a star, in combination (size of room, consistence of food, depth of wine list, suitability of swimming pool for toddlers, childcare offer, value for money).

We stopped in for three days of skiing on the legendary downhill course and the entire Kitzbuhel complex. We were thrilled to be only 30 metres from the end of the ski-out on The Streif. We literally had to walk down the hill 50 metres to get on the gondola. Indoor parking was great and was included in the room rate. The service was exceptional. We'll be back.

Breakfast was great but dinner average. Much better options outside the hotel. Location is excellent and arguably the most important thing in a ski resort.

Very nice hotel, really enjoyed it

Hotel Kaiserhof rated top hotel in Kitzbuhel by comparison site. Spotlessly clean, very helpful staff and beautiful resort. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Swimming pool and spa facilities perfect. Hotel is a little on the outskirts of town, no distance to walk into town but a steep climb on the way back up. We had very hot weather so kept all the windows open. The noise was pretty bad from the nearby trains. Cars and motorbikes and revellers at the hotel opposite kept us awake until the early hours one night. Kitzbuhel is delightful, very chic, great for restaurants, coffee bars and people watching in the Main Street. Lovely shops but rather pricey. Fabulous scenery and views. Stunning resort and hotel, would definitely recommend.
