Excellent location and beautiful hotel

We stayed in the three bedroom. This is in a seperate building than the rest of Appart Hotel Genepy, in a structure of what is/used to be a cafe. The building lacks the charm of the main building and is only accessible by an outdoor staircase. The rooms were very spartan and the apartment is not well lit - most windows are obstructed and the upstairs rooms only have skylights. We would not stay here again should we return to Chamonix.

Lovely little apartment overlooking a charming courtyard in the heart of Chamonix. It is also close to the bus stops for all the slopes. The hotel has a mix of hotel rooms and various size apartments. We took the one bedroom option for two of us. The bedroom had a double bed and a single bed. There was also a comfortable double sized pull out sofa bed in the living room. So, theoretically, the apartment could fit 5! We were only two. They also have two bedroom apartments. Fabulous views of Mont Blanc from the windows and our balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The Genepy in Chamonix, managed by Hôtel & Spa Le Faucigny, offers a convenient stay with check-in and breakfast available at the hotel next door. While parking is discounted, reservations are essential due to limited slots, and note that there's no elevator. The apartment features a bedroom and a closet-type room suitable for kids but without a window. Despite the summer heat, the provided AC/FAN machine helped cool the space effectively. Although initially advertised, the laundry was unavailable, but the manager promptly addressed the issue. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing guests to prepare meals with ease, especially with the supermarket nearby. While the apartment is clean with a spacious balcony, there's no mountain view. Communication with the helpful reception staff is recommended for any needs or requests to ensure a hassle-free stay.

Excellent little apartment just off the main pedestrian street and immediately next to a couple of nice grocery stores and markets - a great combination given the simple little kitchen in the unit. Super convenient and well maintained - highly recommended!

My experience with Appart’ Hôtel Le Génépy was deeply disappointing. Despite notifying them a month in advance about the cancellation of our reservation from June 7-10 due to a medical exemption, they chose to ignore all forms of communication – emails, voice messages, and more. Not only did they fail to refund our reservation, but they also rebooked our room, effectively profiting twice from our unfortunate situation. The unprofessionalism displayed by the staff and their disregard for urgent medical exemptions is disheartening. It seems that their focus is solely on maximizing profit rather than prioritizing the well-being of their potential patrons. As much as I love Chamonix, I cannot see myself ever setting foot in this establishment when I visit in the future. It’s truly a shame. Despite never actually making the trip, this establishment managed to utterly deter me from ever considering a future visit to Chamonix.

Check in was at hotel across the street. Didn’t see back entrance to that hotel so gps took me around the block to go in. Staff was friendly and showed me to apartment. It was very big, very clean and modern. Was allowed a min to unload bags in front of apartment then park at parking deck 5 min walk away.

Good value for a short stay. My family and I stayed for 1 night in a 1 bedroom serviced apartment and had a little more than the basic amenities in a standard hotel. The photos in the booking page did not look like our apartment. Quite basic aesthetics. Overall good accomodation.
