Appart'Hôtel le Génépy

A stand-out boutique hotel, our stay at Le Genepy was memorable. The suites are beautifully appointed, functional, spacious and tastefully furnished, with exceptional heating and stylish lighting and fittings. Recommend this hotel and the friendly team.

Cons: I cant attest to the other apts but as an older couple, Apt 1 did not work for us. Our bed was up on the second floor assessable by a very narrow winding staircase. We left our suitcase downstairs rather than lug it upstairs. Toilet was also down very creaky staircase so to use it in the middle of the night was not only noisy but dangerous. Convenient location to all the restaurants and shops. An upholstered bench to sit on but not comfortable. Pros: Nice staff. Convenient location near all the restaurants and shops. Nice sufficient breakfast at a small additional cost.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment, once we found it. It is tucked off the street, and a bit difficult to locate, even with Google Maps. Checkin was at the hotel across the parking lot. Once there, everything was great. Can't say enough about the staff, especially at the front desk. We don't speak much French, and they clearly communicated everything in English, showed us our room, explained breakfast, gave recommendations for restaurants, etc. They were fabulous. Room was as expected, comfortable bed, good wifi, great breakfast if you sign up for that option.

Perfect for our 3 days in Chamonix. Great central location right off main tourist street allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We were there in early May, which is off season, so many things were closed - but still plenty to do!! We loved having the kitchen & there are 3 small grocery stores within a block. Staff was friendly and helpful, let us leave our bags when we arrived in the morning before check-in time so we could walk around. Easy 10 min walk from Geneva bus drop-off.

super nice modernised appartments in a beautiful old building in central chamonix. 2 minutes from supermarket, but off a quiet side street. we stayed in the penthouse which was super nice. Only criticism is the kitchens weren't super well stocked with cooking equipment so not easy to do a lot of cooking.

We loved Appart'Hotel le Genepy. It was perfect for our family with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and because of COVID we used the kitchen and ate mainly in our apartment, which had all of the necessities. Plus there's a supermarket just around the corner and an amazing cheese store and passtiserie close by too! We skied and were directed to a ski rental place close by that brought our equipment over which was kept in the ski room (very convenient). Location was perfect along the Main Street and close to bus stops to go skiing. We felt very safe here and highligh recommend staying here!

Great location, right in town. Very nice apartment and super helpful management.
