Best Western White Mountain Inn

The A/C and heat did not work in my room. The microwave was unplugged and shoved in a closest. It also did not work when I tried it. Not worth the money to stay here. Dirty bathroom. All around bad experience.

Hotel had been remodeled and was just what we needed after a day of hiking at Franconia Notch state park

My room was right beside the front desk- which was noisy and staff were loud. At 4am I was awoken by a staff person saying good morning loudly. I had a barely hot shower- temp was ALL the way up & it was never hot. There was a lightbulb lying on the counter- soap was already open- which I didn’t use- and the blind was broken. Facility is newly renovated but poorly done & I was terribly disappointed

Very little we liked, possibly the bed was good.

On arrival, the staff member did not make one feel welcome and was unhelpful about information on finding a place for dinner. Staff were hardly ever around, the front desk was manned with a printed sign saying that the staff were helping a customer, some of the time they were sitting by the fire in the lobby with their cellphone. Breakfast, gluten-free items available, rubbery scrambled eggs, and there could have been yogurt, but the machine was broken, nothing else gluten-free. The soap dispenser was out of soap. They couldn't find more, so they gave us 2 bars of hand soap! There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower head. The pool water was too cold for swimming. Finally, I was unable to get a copy of my bill on departure as the desk was again manned by a sign, not a human. With what seemed to be a hotel with very few guests, the service and upkeep of the rooms should have been first class. It is an impressive looking hotel, but unfortunately, that is where the impression stops.
