The location of this hotel is excellent, just a few minutes' walk away from Temple Meads train station and several bus links into the city centre. You can also easily walk to the city centre or harbourside in about 15-20 minutes, which is quite nice on a sunny day. The room was spotless and generously sized, with all of the usual amenities included (hairdryer, iron and ironing board, lockable safe). The staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival, and checked in regularly throughout the stay to ensure that everything was good. I did order room service once during the stay and the food was delicious.

My room had an adjoining door with another room and my neighbours were not the quietest, so it was very easy to hear them clearly through our shared door. Thankfully, they quietened down before it got too late but then I was kept awake by their snoring. Obviously, this isn't the fault of the hotel but it's just something to bear in mind - if you are a light sleeper, it might be good to request a room that does not have an adjoining door.
