We stayed here before and after a short coach tour of Wales, and the hotel kindly stored our baggage while we were on tour. Our room was very comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. We dined in the attached Kiln restaurant and enjoyed pleasant meals with excellent service from Niko and his friendly assistant.

Location was excellent — only about a 10-minute walk from the station, very convenient. Room was comfortable and clean. No view, but that didn’t matter for a one-night stay. Slept like a log and woke up feeling really refreshed. Room was in good condition overall, though the bathroom was quite small — fine for a short stay. Only slight downside was the smell of the cleaning products, which I wasn’t too keen on. The standout was the reception team — extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was also a highlight: great staff and lots of choice, including a delicious omelette. Overall: I’d rate it 4.5 rather than 5. Would definitely stay again.
