What a beautiful hotel in a wonderful area loved every minute of our stay here

Everything was fine but the place needs maintenance

Overall it was pretty good. A bit annoying that you have to wait in line to make reservations for breakfast, lunch and dinner every morning by 7 am or be resigned to eat buffet-only, and not all sit-in restaurants were available every day. Other than that, it was well kept, staff were very friendly and the food, buffet and all, were pretty good (a bit salty for my taste, but great variety). One last thing, I thought it was funny that they removed sliding doors from showers so only half a panel was installed and water easily spilled on the bathroom floor. They said it was to make it 'modern' which i found funny as I stay at Hilton, Hyatt, etc. all over and never saw anything like it.

The only restaurant that was good was the Maya grill. The rest of the restaurants and the buffet the food were really salty. No stacks durimg the day only at 11pm-2am The choice is either you eat the breakfast or lunch that was available. The drinks were not many choices. I wouldn't go back at all. I was there june 22-28 /2025 wish i would of booked less days.

It was a very good experience, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. There's plenty of activities and amenities on the hotel, so one is never bored.

Really love this place

Expected a lot more. All inclusive resort serving buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even though it is buffet style you have to reserve a time for each meal. We stayed here for one night and I am glad we did one night only. I wanted to get it out of my system. All you hear about is positive feedback about how this is the best resort in the country. It might have been at one time but now it is a run down resort. Most of the staff look like they are miserable working there. No one tips. My family was the only one that tipped all the bar tenders and waiters. All the guess keep asking for the stars and do not compensate the staff. Rooms: run down and old. They are clean but they are really run down. They give you exactly two towels per room, no more. My guess is that the guest takes them. We had a really nice ocean front room. It had a balcony but not big enough to take your chairs and enjoy the view. And for some reason all the rooms have three beds. I guess a lot of multifamily gatherings. Beach/pool: the pool area was pretty full but it was easy to find chairs. My husband and I love the beach and there was a really nice beach area with shade and easy to find chairs. There was a cove so it was nice to enjoy the beach. There is also a salt water pool. The resort is also very strict with the beach towels so make sure you return them or it’s $10 Buffet: the food was actually pretty tasty. They had typical Salvadoran breakfast. Lunch was tasty and dinner as well. Very small selection but good. No seafood at all. Chicken, meat and pasta. And of course to please the American crowd pancakes and French toast. I enjoyed all three meals. Bars: not a big selection and absolutely no top shelf and no whiskey or bourbon. The bars were not very organized so not sure exactly where to go to order a drink. All in all I would not recommend this place . The “all inclusive” tag is a joke. I would go to another resort. It is always over crowded and over priced. Check in is at three and checkout from room at 1 and from the resort at 3 and they are very strict. The check in process is something I have never seen. It’s like a huge room with chairs and you are called in when it’s your turn. Not what I expected at all.

The Staff excluding the bartenders are not friendly or warm they are euther under paid or just dislike tourists and I'm a Spanish-speaker. The check in process is ridiculous. You literally cant drive into the property till it's about 3pm, then gather into a big room where everything is manually written down to get you a key and brackets. Our bell guy was actually very nice, who had to run back in the rain to get the right key. Rooms are less than average but A/C wirked good for us by not for my aunt who called and never came to fix it. You have to make reservations for buffet whuch is odd and we didn't even get any A la cart lunches or dinner. For the money spent glad we didn't stay longer than 2 days. El Salvador is beautiful and stayed at other hotels that hands down where way better than this all inclusive. They have a long way to go to be up to pare wuth Mexicos all inclusive starting wuth how you greet your guests. The owner of this place needs to step it up as El Salvador is becoming more if a tourist spot and the word will get around to avoid this place. I recommend Fishermans Resort, outside entrance is not much but once you enter the property and room you will not be disappointed.

Good stay, the tour company operating at this resort has very limited choice of activities. Food was amazing, room was clean
