Twin Lotus Resort and Spa (Adult Only / November to April)

This was a five night stay at this wonderful resort which we have now visited a total of six times. It reminded us why we keep coming back as it is such a comfortable and well run place to spend some time in total relaxation and comfort. There were a couple of areas for improvement which I'll come onto but for the most part it is an absolute joy to be here and will undoubtedly be our choice when we next visit this area. Location – very good indeed. You are right on the beach and all the joys that this brings. Restaurants and mini markets are spread all along the beach and it probably takes you about five minutes to reach the first bar. You also have the option of walking up to the main road for the 7-Eleven and bigger shops and probably the better restaurants as well. Accommodation – we went for a beach view Villa and if your budget allows it I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are beautifully laid out and incredibly comfortable with everything you need for a fabulous stay. The bed was very comfortable, there is a safe, umbrellas (which we used on several occasions!) , A TV, hot drinks facility, fridge with a mini bar in it and so on. In other words everything you could possibly need to feel at a home from home. One area for improvement is undoubtedly the air-conditioning though. Our unit tried it very best but it never got really cold And thankfully we were provided with a fan which helped us sleep better. Also providing mosquito coils would be handy as there's a few about at the start and the end of the day. Wi-Fi – pretty good. You get an individual router in your room and the whole area is covered by the twin Lotus network. It may sound a bit picky but it isn't great down at the beach but You don't come to a tropical island to get gigabit broadband! Beach and pools – for the most part very good although the bar there charging 70 baht for an ice bucket is greedy in my opinion. We stayed in six other resorts on the island and none were nearly as much as this. The hotel was pretty much full when we were there but we still managed to get beach loungers every day pretty much wherever we wanted. Even though there are signs up you still get the selfish people who reserve beds for hours when they are not there. It doesn't appear that the hotel enforces the warnings and we even noticed people from outside the resort using the beds on the beach. That said, both the beach and the pool areas are very comfortable and the ones on the front have amazing views. There are three pools in total and the middle one could probably do with a bit of love and attention with more umbrellas for shade. Food – we didn't use the restaurant in the evening as there's so many great restaurants on the beach and in the town but breakfast was fantastic. As the hotel was full there were times when not everything was available but the staff did their very best and replenished the food as quickly as possible. The juice was excellent, same applies to the coffee and the variety of fruit, cooked meat, cheese, hot and cold international and local dishes was amazing and absolutely delicious. Staff – everybody we encountered was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always a smile on the faces when you said good morning and thank you to people. I don't normally do this but a special mention for Michelle. Her service before we arrived and during our day was absolutely top class and she has a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she is efficient, professional but very friendly indeed. Her help was particularly appreciated.

Another beautiful experience, returning 6 years in the row, and always happy and always satisfied. The resort is situated at the best Kho Lanta’s beach, with clean, shallow water and rock less bottom. There are not lights, no boats, no jets; you are surrounded by Mother Nature at its best, with mesmerizing sunsets. Paradise is found at the Twin Lotus with SPA, 2 swimming pools, comfortable, clean rooms and luxuries beach villas. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the dinners on beech were unforgettable. This hotel is a hidden paradise with comprehensive amenities. The attention to detail in each aspect of the experience truly sets it apart. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you Michelle, Mr. Piti and entire staff! Hope to see you all soon. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and location.

Where do I begin? This is my favourite place in the world. This is our second stay at twin lotus and we were here for 19 fabulous days . Not one complaint! First. THE STAFF . They are all truly incredible and make sure your stay is perfect. Michelle who does so much is not only an efficient, capable dedicated employee , she does everything with a smile and with such grace. Twin lotus is so fortunate to have her as part of their team. We will keep returning just to see michelle! The kitchen staff including marc and bodi also work so hard to ensure everything is functioning and do it all with such a positive attitude. The location is quite high up on the island so you think it will be busy but it is incredibly quiet and a short tuk tuk to the night market in Saladan . Also there are some restaurants on the beach and it all comes alive at night but a bit away from the hotel so it remains quiet on the property. Still easy walking distance. The beach is the nicest we’ve stayed on after many visits to Thailand. It’s 4 km of white sand is a nice walk and the water is calm and very swimmable. No coral . It has restaurants , massage parlours and a few bars but they are a bit further away ( also easy walking) but twin lotus maintains its serenity. The best part but not for everyone is that there are no motorized boats allowed. No jetskis . No long tail boats. If that’s what you’re looking for find a different island . Koh sumui ? The grounds are serene and flawlessly maintained like walking through a park . Even though your accommodation may be a bit further from the beach the grounds are so beautiful to walk through. Breakfast has vast variety and even after 19 days we had so many choices. Lots of fresh fruit each day . Variety of eggs and lots of Thai options. No frantic push for a table or food . It’s all calm and quiet. There are a lot of variety of accommodations but they are all lovely and immaculate. Some are farther from the beach but the grounds are so nice and there are a few pools throughout the property . None get overly crowded. We love this hotel and I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for amazing sunsets each night, quiet restful environment and an amazing staff who seem to truly care that things go well. BASIC OVER VIEW. Very pleasant stay at a very nice hotel. The place was friendly and room we stayed in ( which was at the entrance end of the hotel with a pool out front and small private pool in the room) was very pleasant. DOWN SIDE. We had to get up reasonably early (around 8-830) to get a couple of sunbeds round the pool or at the beach. If you try later you’ll struggle to get a bed. This was at the main pool by the beach. There were only 6 bed by the pool by our room and most were in total shade and had no bar service or bar near by. UP SIDE. Main pool (when we got a bed) was beautiful and over looks the beach and sunset. This area is lovely. Staff come round to get you drinks at happy hour and on one day bought round fruit to eat which was a lovely treat. OVERVIEW. Nice enough hotel. Breakfast was lovely with so much choice. Staff all seemed very friendly and helpful and I would recommend

Our pool villa was exceptional! Beautiful, tranquil location, excellent proportions, comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom & good size private pool. All cleaned to a high standard. Particular thanks to Michelle Yalung, an outstanding Office Manager, who really made our holiday. 💞 Incredible spa! Relaxing, beautiful environment & exceptionally professional staff. Had many different massages - all of a very high standard. 💞 Two restaurants, one for breakfast only, the second on the beach for lunch & dinner, both overlooking the stunning bay. Perfect orientation to enjoy the glorious sunsets. 😍 Lastly, a major plus factor, adults only! 👍

Twin Lotus is a serene, adults-only retreat right by the beach. From November to April, the resort is exclusively for guests over 18, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. Outstanding Staff & Service The greatest strength of Twin Lotus is its amazing staff. No matter who you interact with gardeners, housekeeping, waitstaff, or management you are always met with a warm and friendly greeting. Many of the staff have worked here for years, and their professionalism, efficiency, and positive attitude truly enhance the experience. A special thank you to Front Office Manager mrs Michelle she is fantastic! Friendly, professional, and always ensuring guests feel welcome. A true star! We also want to acknowledge Food & Beverage Manager mr Mark and assistant restaurant Manager mr Khun Joe, who are always present around the restaurant and pool, ensuring guests receive top-notch service. Improved Facilities & Dining Experience This year, the breakfast area received a nice upgrade, fresh and modern! The cold buffet is now in a glass-enclosed, air-conditioned room, which keeps food fresher and eliminates issues with birds and flies. The breakfast selection is excellent, featuring freshly baked bread, a live cooking station for eggs and noodle soup, and plenty of fresh fruit. The restaurant serves delicious food, and it’s clear that a new head chef has taken over. Big thanks to him and his team! Service around the pool and beach area has also improved significantly, with staff regularly taking orders. Happy Hour runs twice daily (12–2 PM & 4–6 PM), and in the afternoons, guests are treated to complimentary fresh fruit skewers—a lovely touch. For the first time in years, there were enough sun loungers! While poolside loungers were in high demand, there were always available loungers and umbrellas on the beach. The One Downside – The General Manager The only disappointment was the new German General Manager. In previous years, both the Swedish Mr. Conny and the Thai Mr. Biggs were incredibly engaged, walking around the resort from morning to night, greeting and chatting with guests. This personal touch was appreciated by all and frequently mentioned in past reviews. Unfortunately, the new GM barely acknowledges guests. He never greeted anyone, appeared disinterested, and was absent for most of our 18-night stay. The only times we saw him were a few brief moments at breakfast or in the beach restaurant, always sitting alone eating. His lack of engagement was a noticeable contrast to previous years. Final Thoughts Despite a few areas that could be improved, Twin Lotus remains a fantastic resort that we truly love. We have already booked our next stay for December 2025, (our 10:th stay since 2019). We will continue to recommend TLL to friends and family. Looking forward to returning❤️

We have stayed many times at TL. This year the breakfastroom was renovated, very nice and amazing breakfast. Lovely and friendly staff all over the hotel. Front desk manager Michelle is a wonderful,helping and always smiling woman. Her husband Mark also the same, thank you for good service. Food at the beach restaurant is 10/10 very tastefull. Only negative thing was the General manager. He didn't say goodmorning, hello a.s.o never talked to hotel guests. We saw him only at breakfast eating and at the beachbar. He looked very angry. Overall I recomend TL for adults. We will return in November.

Beautiful hotel on the beach. Rooms were well appointed and breakfast was excellent. It was also easy to get in to town - either walking in day or 100B TikTok at night

The hotel overall has a lot of potential but fell short in some key areas during our stay. Pros: The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, which made certain aspects of our stay pleasant. The overall ambiance of the hotel is nice, and the location is convenient. Cons: Unfortunately, the rear garden with the pool had a very unpleasant smell (sewage), making the pool area unusable. (Waste of money to upgrade to room with private pool). The hot tub was not very clean, which was disappointing. I got sick after eating dim sum at the hotel breakfast, which raises concerns about food safety. While the staff’s kindness was appreciated, the cleanliness and hygiene issues made it hard to fully enjoy our stay.
