Twin Lotus Resort and Spa (Adult Only / November to April)

We stayed at the superior room which were located a little far from the hotel lobby, restaurant and beach. The superior room building is just next to the main road with lots of greens around it. Very few guests in the hotel during low season and plenty of sun decks available both at the beach pool and middle pool. But beware of mosquitoes and other flies that bite whenever you're outside. They're thirsty for the blood. Pah is the most friendly staff I know at the restaurant. Very genuine person with great smile. The gardeners were very polite where they always greets us with a smile. Sue from the spa staff is friendly and patient in explaining the packages we enquired. The motorbike rental guy, receptionist, room cleaner and buggy driver were also helpful to address our needs. A la carte American and Thai breakfast were tasty and freshly made daily by kitchen staff. Hope the hotel can consider to switch to universal adapter in the room. Other than that, the bed, standing fan, air conditioning, shower, fridge, hairdryer were working fine. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. No toothbrush and toothpaste. I was disappointed with the beach area. Not much cleaning was done by staff with the rubbish washed up from the sea. Only saw a beautiful guest who's quietly cleaning them and keep them in different categories of the recycled materials.

No need to think further Outstanding service, beautifully appointed rooms. Stunning views and yummiest food. Staff treat you with respect and make the stay a comfortable one Upon arrival the welcome is warm. The restaurant in front of the beach has the nicest view, nice room, excellent service, and a fantastic your F&B staff. I apologize for forgetting his name. leisurely time at the spa, and my favorite thing is a diverse brunch. Everything is fine

Most memorable, this is second time we decided to stay at Twin Lotus for 3 nights. We stayed at Garden Villa no.632 comfortable size everything function properly, clean, quiet and very big balcony where we can sit and enjoy the garden view. We had breakfast at restaurant, perfect location, There are so many varieties of food. That you can choose with to separate food line being for the hot food and air conditioning room for cold food. Well manage. Swimming pool and pool bar is situate in front of the beach with the proper size for swimming and also a perfect area for laying down relaxing and many of beach canvas bed we really enjoy sitting there every day and also enjoy watching sunset. We also try Thai Traditional Massage and Oil Massage (by one get one free we love it) expert&excellent. What a perfect place location of the hotel is very convenience, there are many shops not far from the hotel (it is near Sri Lanta Bridge) Thank you to the hotel staff, there attitude and service mind make us feel make us feel warm and enjoyable for the entire trip. What a wonderful hotel in the most beautuful part of Koh Lanta. The people of Thailand are the happiest and kindest you will ever meet. Gorgeous room, on the beach, wonderful breakfast, easy Tuk Tuk ride to everywhere else on the island. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance too. We’ll definitely go back.

From the first minute to the last one of the best hotels I've stopped in without being pretentious, superb position on the beach,restaurant food was excellent, pool area with loungers and beach loungers.room and balcony excellent, and it was peaceful as it was adults only,staff helpful friendly and nothing was to much trouble, a thouraly relaxed break, I will go back again

Twin Lotus is set in a beautiful beachfront location on Koh Lanta, perfect for those looking to escape into nature. On the surface, it promises a premium adult-only experience — but in practice, it leaves much to be desired. Things to consider before booking: Layout & Design: The resort is spread out in a long, narrow layout, making it quite a walk between facilities. The overall design feels more like the personal vision of the owner rather than one crafted by a professional architect, leading to a lack of practical flow in many areas. Room Experience: The bathroom had occasional musty smells, and the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough to handle the island heat — especially in the afternoon. Facilities: Many facilities are outdated and in need of serious refurbishment. For a resort positioning itself as 5-star, the wear and tear is noticeable. Service: Some staff were friendly and service-minded, but others appeared disinterested, which may stem from understaffing. When I accidentally left my key card in the room, it took over 40 minutes and two phone calls before anyone responded — and in the end, no one came. Golf Cart Policy: While other resorts offer golf cart transport for convenience, here it’s only available during check-in and check-out. This wasn’t communicated clearly, and with the distance between areas, it became an inconvenience when carrying heavy items. Adult-Only Policy: The resort advertises itself as "Adults Only," but I saw several families with children staying there. While I personally didn’t mind, the presence of kids (and expected noise) contradicts their branding — if strict rules are in place, they should apply consistently. Final Thoughts: Twin Lotus has strong potential thanks to its location and natural surroundings. However, the lack of thoughtful service design, inconsistent policy enforcement, and aging facilities prevent it from living up to its premium promise. At this price point, there are better options with more cohesive hospitality. Rating: 2.5 out of 5 — Great view, but the experience needs serious improvement.

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, the pool, the beach, the gym, the restaurant, all the grounds are fantastic. However make sure you book upgraded rooms/villas for the best experience. Private Pool Deluxe rooms are at the very back of the property - far away from everything and incredibly dark with no natural light in the room, which is very disappointing when you're in such a sunny location. Those rooms have a lovely terrace with small pool, but I don't really see a reason why you'd stay in your room instead of making use of the rest of the hotel facilities. Great breakfast spread with lots of options to choose from, and the restaurant overlooking the sea, which is stunning. Beach restaurant offers great variety of lunch/dinner options at reasonable prices, however aside from breakfast coffee, they don't serve any coffee during the day and tried to serve me powdered instant coffee at a hefty price - the same type I could make in the room for free! The spa is 5x the cost of any other massage place in Koh Lanta, and don't really see anything special about it. I had a very pleasant stay, but there is certainly a lot of room for improvement to truly make it a great experience!

An incredible experience at the Twin Lotus. We were treated exceptionally well and found the resort to be in excellent condition. Rooms were beautifully appointed, breakfast was fresh and varied. A very relaxing, idyllic experience. Highly recommend for those looking for a value-for-money boutique resort experience.

A nice hotel located just off the beach , rooms are nice , breakfast has a good selection , you need a car/ motorbike to see more of the island , there is also a gym there if you need it , reggae bar is close by & lots of other small bars & restaurants located along the beach front ,
