Twin Lotus Resort and Spa (Adult Only / November to April)

This place never disappoints, this was our fourth visit during our travels around Thailand. Great beach for long walks. Staff always super friendly, some of the rooms looking a bit dated and could do with a makeover but compared to other hotels certainly stacks up. Breakfast has plenty of options. All very positive only observation for management which I mentioned in past review last year no moisturiser in bathroom which falls below standard of similar hotels like this in Thailand. Shower heads need overhaul as does water pressure. Apart from this thank you for another wonderful stay.

We felt very comfortable at the Twin Lotus Resort! The Deluxe Bungalows Beach/Sea & Gardenview are all beautifully situated and offer a private terrace where you can relax all day. The hotel staff, including the manager, are all incredibly friendly! The breakfast is excellent (with a refrigerator!) and you can enjoy it with a sea view. The natural beach is very beautiful. Although there are plenty of sun loungers available, many guests reserve them. The hotel's location is quiet, and there are plenty of options for enjoying local bars and restaurants in the evening. We highly recommend this hotel.

A Beautiful Peaceful Resort on a Fabulous Beach. We had an excellent clean comfortable deluxe room. The breakfast was delicious and the customer care was outstanding.

Best thing about this resort is the adults only period from November to April. Makes a huge difference. We enjoyed our stay in a deluxe sea view villa which was comfortable. We did expect a higher standard for the price - some things needed attention like the shower head, the frames around the fly screens are rotting, the aircon leaked, our toiletries were not replenished and the mosquito net over the bed had holes in it and was not clean. The breakfast spread was extensive but with only one restaurant on site, which was very average, was a bit disappointing. The resort is close to other bars and restaurants along the beach so not a big deal. You can also get to town on a Tuk Tuk in 5 minutes where you can eat at the markets very cheaply. The pool, although inviting, was murky towards the end of our stay so can only assume there was a problem with the filter. The sunbeds are awful. They all need replacing they are saggy and uncomfortable, some had screws missing. Walking along the beach you could see the other resorts all had plush sun loungers with comfortable padded mattresses. They only allow one pool towel per guest which for a resort is upward of. To make it worse, the towels were old and faded so it didn’t feel like a high class resort. The resort spa was lovely and the therapists very friendly and attentive. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the cracks are appearing and need urgent attention to bring it up to the standard they charge to stay there.

Very nice Resort for Adult Only in winter time. We spend a good time. The Staff is nice & helpful. We were on vacation of course & we didn't appreciate no flexibility for breakfast & dinner closing time...too much hurry too close. It was not possible to move sunbeds on their beach & you had to stay very closed to somebody else, they also locked them. The gym is very nice but not very cleaned & there is no disinfectant spray to clean by ourself neither. I think they should be more flexy to customers.

This was our second stay here, and we felt right at home again. While the hotel is showing its age a bit, it's generally very well-maintained. The grounds, in particular, are beautifully landscaped and visibly cared for. The staff are consistently very friendly and attentive, making the stay a truly pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet is exceptionally extensive, offering an impressive selection of high-quality, attractively presented food. The atmosphere at breakfast is tranquil and stylish, allowing you to start the day in a relaxed manner. The Bualuang spa area deserves special mention; it's truly one of the best. It offers a unique atmosphere of relaxation and well-being and is definitely one of the hotel's highlights for us. Even the entrance area is inviting and features a comfortable waiting area with a cushioned lounge, making arrival, departure, and waiting for a taxi very convenient. The rooms are very well-equipped and comfortable, though they do show some minor signs of age here and there. These minor issues hardly detract from the overall very positive impression. Overall, a very nice hotel with lots of charm, an excellent spa, a superb breakfast, and wonderful staff – ideal for those seeking relaxation. Here, guests truly feel welcome and wonderfully cared for. Thank you very much.

Lovely staff, amazing new breakfastroom, with a lot of options. Clean room. Service 10/10 Spa is quiet and relaxing, I really enjoyed it. New this season is yooga, wonderful and free of charge, u must try! We will come back soon.

This is a good hotel with nice rooms that are well equipped. Many have great big hammocks at their outside space. There are 2 good pools and lots of loungers at the main one and the beach. They do let folk reserve the loungers so one day there were none available. Many people also leave their towels when they finish and as these are not lifted it looks as if the loungers are not free. Maybe something they could improve on. Hotel has an amazing breakfast- overnight oats and yoghurt pots- delicious. All cold items are kept in a big walk in fridge, so good. Loafs of choice and breakfast items are constantly topped up too. You can get coffee and bottled water all day at this hotel. They also put loads of bottles of water in your room each day- it’s brilliant. There is a good happy hour- 2 for 1 cocktails that work out good value and 3 for 2 beers. It’s a lovely tranquil and quiet resort but we were there during an adults only period so could be different when there are kids there. There are plenty nearby restaurants, you can even go to some barefoot along the beach. This is a well kept resort with lush gardens and big lizards- water monitors - wandering about. I would definitely recommend during adults only periods.

We unfortunately only stayed 2 nights in the hotel. We had a room with a pool, which was absolutely perfect! Everything you could need in a room. The hotel itself was beautiful, absolutely perfect. I couldn't fault it at all. I hope I return one day. My day at Following Giants a completely ethical elephant santuary was absolutely amazing - if you get the opportunity to go, go!
