Best Hotel

We stayed here as part of groupon deal yes it was cheap we had no idea where we were going but the best hotel really is not the best. Rude night staff although bar and days staff very nice. We reported on the Saturday after arriving Friday night and finding out Saturday am shower was broken told sorry but maintenance not in till Monday ( When we left) we expected budget for what we paid but seriously nasty lovely city do not stay here !

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the start of October 2019. Its about a 15 minute bus or tram trip from the city centre, and about 15 mins from the airport. We found the staff to be as helpful and friendly as they were anywhere else we went in Riga. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was perfect for my partner- less so for me as I am allergic to seafood and the herring was a bit close to all of the meats, but thats my personal issue. Hotel were happy for us to leave our bags there all day on our last day, and provided a car to the airport for around £10. For the price we paid, we were exceptionally happy with this hotel and would recommend it. One thing to note- the walls are very thin so probably not one for a 'romantic' stay but we were very happy with our room and stay.

Decent hotel for the money, location is close to the airport and close to public transport that takes 20min to get into city centre. Rooms are basic, but clean and spacious. Decent bathroom too!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room is basic but you get what you pay for. It's kept very clean. Our room was facing the main road but we weren't disturbed by traffic noise or other guests at all. Varied choice for breakfast albeit a bit strange (probably because its not what I'm used to though). Great for a short stay, would probably stay again if I visited Latvia again.

Great hotel, conveniently located close to airport (assuming you have a car); they also have an airport shuttle. The rate was very affordable and the hotel is relatively more comfortable than what typical european hotels of similar category are.

Nice hotel, great breakfast. Location is not central, though easy reachable.

Le personnel pas très souriant c'est dommage,mais sinon la chambre était top ! le seul bémol la douche trop petite et haute. La ville de Riga est sympa à visiter dans l'ensemble.

A cheaper hotel outside of the city center, which is a 10-15 bus ride away. Reception not very friendly or welcoming and happy to leave you waiting at reception. I'm hope weather the only air conditioning is a small fan and the window and the bathroom pipes still emit heat, so pretty hot in the room. No food available later on in evening. Single beds very small. Can hear all the stomping from the rooms above and at the side. The key broke. No safe in room. Curtains only covered two thirds of window. No kettle. Invoice was wrong and the response appeared to be that it was my problem not theirs. Breakfast adequate - some hot and cold choices, not a huge range though. Clean rooms. Adequate shower. Generally it was just the miserable attitude of the staff that would prevent me returning.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. We chose this hotel for two main reason- location (ca 7km from the airport) and secured parking lot. Otherwise it is a very modest hotel. The rooms are simple (only bed, table and chair, and closet). No mini fridge, no air condition, on the first floor the window was to the street (so no possibility to let the window open at night). The breakfast was served at 7 am and when you leave early (like we did) they do not pack you a breakfast bag. I could recommend this hotel only for minimum stay.

I've been reading reviews of this hotel, and they are pretty funny to me: "Too much dogs!")) We were in Riga for a dog show, so - yes, hotel was full of dogs! They do charge extra and take a deposit that they return on check-out - but it was worth it. Breakfast is lovely. Restaurant menu is amazing!! (but my advise is to avoid beef - not their forte). Pancakes with ice cream - were so airy and light - we just could stop from ordering them every evening! I missed having blinds on the windows- i'd rather not wake up with the first light, but the soundproofing was amazing (ground floor room)
