Best Hotel

We stayed here for 7 nights bed and breakfast. The breakfast was basically what you will get in most Eastern Europe hotels but thankfully this hotel actually had food that our son ate, which is rare, due to being fussy. Breakfast room a bit crowded though and it does not help, when guests think that they are the only ones that are there and have little regard for other travelers. More food would be available quicker, if some travelers did not pile plates up with more than they needed and then left food to waste. Room was adequate for sleeping and resting as most time you were out. T V only had 3 channels and curtains undated and need to be changed to fit fully. Decoration of hotel was OK and well kept as was the outside areas, Hotel offers a taxi at reasonable prices to various areas - we used to go to Riga town at cost of 7.50 euros. Reception staff were OK although we have had friendly ones in past and what we asked they helped us with. Hotel is guarded by a friendly cat ( do not know if it is a local, a guest or a hotel staff member) but us having a cat at home, gave you that at home feeling.

Stayed here as a stopover with my wife and 9 month old son Let’s just say I am glad it was only just one night the rooms in this hotel are very basic indeed , beds hard curtains dirty rude receptionist and they charge you 10 Euro for a cot what they don’t inform you about till you arrive Drinks menu was very small and overpriced and when it’s hot outside you want a cold beer well the beer you got here was warm. Breakfast was a shambles Will not recommend anyone to stay here whilst in Riga

Мебель старая, отель далеко от старого города, шумно очень, стены тонкие, в 6 утра уже не возможно спать, ресторан для завтрака слишком маленький, еслишв отеле проживает 100 человек, как можно сделать для завтрака ресторан с помадочными местами 20??? Я не советую этот отель.

We were travelling from Estonia and over bridge you have to wait for some time to get left side road. Hotel has free parking. They should have mini bars in rooms in hot summer days to keep your soft drinks at least cold. No air condition avalaible.Thin walls!You can hear neighbours activity very easly.Door keys are clinking when attached. Breakfast was poor and overcrowded. Very small place for such a big hotel! Hard to find sitting place. Coffea wasn t good. Easy to go city center. Just over the bridge. Closse to hote nice walking park called Arkadia. Shops are close. Easy hotel for this money.

Et fint hotel i udkanten af Riga, som vi brugte til en enkelt overnatning inden vi skulle videre nordpå. To enkelt senge der lidt små, men resten var upåklageligt og så til en super pris.

The hotel is good for its price -- clean and minimal. Noting in the room. No water boiler -- just two glasses for tap water. It's really a budget hotel so please do not expect anything at all more than that. I did not expect more than a budget hotel, so all my expectations were reached. Wi-fi dropped a lot during my stay. I got a free upgrade of room after 2 nights after the hotel discovered a problem in my room. The hotel is about 20 minutes from Riga Central Train Station by bus (about an hour on foot on a highway), but there are many buses and minibuses that go that direction, so it's quite convenient. Returning at night may be a bit difficult as there's no bus after midnight so a taxi app (Taxify since there's no Uber in Riga) should be readily downloaded on your phone. A normal cap is not easy to find.

We only stayed one night but it was convenient as we had a hire car, for parking, travel from air port, ease to get into ity, ease to pick up main route to our detination in east of country. We requested a room with 3 beds & website indicated 3rd bed may be a temporary one but it was a normal bed and room was big enough for all. Staff were friendly and it was easy to check in & out. Food in restaurant / bar was good. We have stayed here before and will do so again if we have very early return flight or v late arrival flight.
