This experience was by far one of the best experiences my entire family have had. The service was fantastic, the facilities were clean, the food was delicious, and there were so many activities and things to do. I huge thank you to Alejandro at the reception desk who was a gem, to Jose and Joel who were magnificent at the Beach Bar, to Eduardo who was fantastic at the Snack Bar at Colonial, to Cecilia who was a wonderful waitress at the Hacienda PM buffet, to the chef extraordinaire David at Portofino who’s food was delicious, to Francisco and Jonathan who’s service at Portofino made us feel special, and to our wonderful concierge David and Rafael who were a power team always checking after us and giving us updates for our day….you all made this experience exceptional and one that I wish many other families would enjoy. I am now Palladium loyal for life. Thank you again for all that you did.

Sat in the travel club sales pitch for 5 hours. Staff made false promises on member pricing for future stays. We actually joined after trying to leave without purchase 3 times. Tried to use are membership to stay an extra night and they wanted to charge more than they quoted during the sales session and did not honor the 10% off from the cheapest rate we could find online.

POSITIVES Beautiful resort very large but easy enough to walk around. We never needed to use a shuttle but they are available for those with walking difficulty. Gorgeous pools. Room was lovely, cleaned everyday with fresh towels and the mini bar/snacks restocked every day without fail and lovely whirlpool bath (standard garden room) Staff cant do enough for you- so friendly. Some people comment about difficulty booking restaraunts but we got in all of them by being organised and booking on the app. Bamboo and Sumpturi was by far our favourites. Plenty of bars everywhere and branded drinks were available and I was surprised how nice the wine was. NEGATIVES The food in the buffets was often quite cold, its like they prepared too much in advance. Plenty of choice but lots of things were very salty for my taste. Evening entertainment IMO wasn't as good as other AI resorts we've stayed at. I expected a show everynight and things like bingo or silent disco didnt really meet my expectations. Beach- swimming area is very shallow so cant really have much of a swim but the beach is nice.

Do not attend the timeshare/membership presentation, we were told plenty of times by different concierges that we would receive a $250 credit for attending and by the time checkout came around, they said they could only give us $100 worth of credit points. This happened to 3 other families at the same time as our checkout was happening, so credit points seem to be a big issue and customer care on site does not accommodate at all, is unfriendly and unnecessarily looks for excuses when it comes to that. Aside from that, it is a beautiful resort accompanied by shady practices and unhelpful, unfriendly reception.

Beautiful resort. However very disappointed with check out process and being charged an additional fee for a stained bedsheet. Toilet in room did not work correctly, maintenance never showed up to fix it.

We had an overall great stay and experience until checkout when they informed one of the couples we were with that they had an issue with a stain on their bedsheet. They spilled a small amount of a strawberry drink on the sheet and the resort charged them $120. If it wasn't for this I would rate this resort much higher.

Wonderful resort, especially the Family Selection if you have kids. Tonight we had dinner at Portofino. Chef David came and visited our table after dinner. The bolognese was quite good, as was the ravioli and the cannoli. Highly recommend!

The resort is very well managed, with friendly staff who consistently greet guests and go out of their way to make the stay comfortable.
