Jade Garden Hotel Beijing

Close to Forbidden City, Tian'Anmen Square and main shopping malls. Many supermarkets and local eating places nearby.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel, and enjoyed it on both occasions. Nice clean rooms, good amenities, money exchange at the reception (which can be challenging to find in Beijing) and most of all, good, central location. (Walking distance to Wangfujing Snack Street, Tienanmen Sq or the Forbidden City. Would recommend it to anyone.

Huge selection. Great as far as buffet food goes. The food was decent and offers a lot of variety for a Chinese buffet. Worth the price. Polite staff. The feeling once you get inside is warm and inviting. No complaints.

Check-in staff wasn't friendly. Room was adequate and suited our needs, but several items were in need of repairs. Plan on walking if using only the subway; bus stops are nearby.

A nice comfortable hotel in the heart of Beijing. Breakfast and lunch are available as well as a bar until 9:00,pm.

We had to keep most of our clothes in our suitcases because there were no dresser drawers, and very little space in the closet to hang them. Also, the air conditioner in this old hotel had a hard time keeping up with the 95 degree temp. Other than that everything was great. The place is in a great location, and is itself a bit historic.

We had good experience staying at this hotel. The location is perfect. We used buses nearby to the Temple of Haven, to Qianmen from where we used another bus to the Great Wall. The hotel room needed some updating. However, if I go to Beijing again, I will choose this hotel.

Some staff don't speak English and is difficult to communicate specifically at night time

Hotel is ideally located, walking distance to main tourist attractions, and major shopping area - several local restaurants opposite for cheap meals including breakfast. Hotelis a little tired but clean and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and well located. We walked to Forbidden City and Tiannamen square from the Hotel.The interior is a little tired and had to go from bar to reception to pay for drinks by Wechat which was a little inconvenient but on the whole an enjoyable stay.
