AluaSoul Palma - Adults Only

Very comfortable adults only hotel situated close to great restaurants, bars and beaches. Fifteen minutes by bus/taxi to the centre of Palma city. Really friendly and helpful hotel staff

Checking in and out were easy and quick. Staff were courteous and hospitable. Breakfast was amazing. Variety of drinks to choose and good selection for food too. Stayed four nights and we never got tired of breakfast. They also offer half board but we didn’t opt for that. Rooftop pool was small but was warm and offers good view. Regular pool was small too but adequate for a quick swim. Music at night usually starts at 9 pm and ends promptly at 10:30 pm. It does echo down the hallway as we’re staying on the first floor but it didn’t really bother us. Close proximity by the airport may be annoying for some. But we live close to an airport and so we’re used to the sounds. And it wasn’t that bad, you just hear the hums of the planes passing by. And most flights happen during daytime anyways. Free parking is free street parking around the area. There’s a jogging and cycling path and although we didn’t get to rent a bike, it was enjoyable people watching as they run or bike by. Location it’s a bit of a walk to the closest beach and a bit more to get to Palma Beach but it’s really a nice calming walk. And because of this, it’s much quieter. If you’re to do the Palma beach train tour, it stops by the hotel.

Fifth visit. Lovely room kept very clean. Breakfast lovely, also lunch very good. Bar staff helpful particularly in the evening. Reception staff excellent especially Usaf who amused us every day. Advised hotel that the holiday was a gift for my husbands 80th birthday but a bit disappointed it wasn't recognised. Would certainly return.

Excellent Hotel

Very much enjoyed our 4 day visit. A good location. Staff mostly friendly. David on reception was very good . We had a club room which was very nice .one small problem was we had a coffee machine, but the mugs were way to big to use ,room 326. Obviously we could have asked for different, but who can be bothered. We used the club lounge a bit ,nice snacks and bottles of beer. Had the roof top to ourselves from 7pm , great to watch the sun set. Only saw one entertainment, abba , they was great but finished too early ,10.30. Very good breakfast. Plane noise did not bother us . No reserving sun beds needs to be inforced . Lot of selfish people taking beds all day and not using them. Would stay here again

We mistakenly booked the hotel through a local travel agent and there was no option for the room that we really required. Husband is an avid plane spotter. When we got to the hotel (10 mins private transfer) we explained to the gentleman on the desk what we had hoped for. Luckily with the help of a colleague Yusuf we were able to pay to upgrade to the room that he really wanted overlooking the bay. Had these two on the desk not been as helpful I would have had a very sulky husband. The room was spacious and perfect. The room was cleaned every day and the staaff very helpful throughout the hotel. The only gripe, was the confusion over the drinks package. We were told on the first night by a member of the restaurant staff that we could buy a soft drink package and get unlimited soft drinks in the Restaurant. We paid for that the next morning. The problems of trying to get this each night was difficult. They seemed to think we needed a ticket but we didn't get one. When we asked at reception we were told we didn't need the ticket. All in all this was a lovely stay and we shall be back but next time with the advise of the staff we will book direct with the hotel. Many thanks to you all.

Staff professional and friendly, room clean, overall great experience

Booked through booking.com for a double bedroom - clearly indicated Double bed. Arrived at the hotel to be put into a twin room (travelling as a couple!) and they refused to take any accountability for overbooking the hotel. They lied and said I requested as a preference. Despite me having the PROOF on my booking! It was their mistake and yet when I suggested they upgrade the room type - they also could not facilitate. When I asked them to downgrade me to a room with a double bed and no balcony etc - they refused to refund the extra I had paid for my category. Left with no choice but to ask for a refund and leave!! Finally a receptionist manager appeared, I no longer had to deal with Marta who was downright condescending and unhelpful. The manager looked at my phone to see what it said on my side, and of course it was THEIR mistake! Left with nowhere to stay, we had booked two nights. We had no hotel room and no recommendation from them. Truly awful and despite me being correct they offered no real apology or gesture of goodwill for the future. Terrible customer service and horrific treatment all round.

The pool only opened at 10am, which felt a bit late for September. The rooms were very clean, and the hotel is perfect for a quick weekend break as it’s so close to the airport. You can see and hear planes, but we expected this, so it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was fine overall, although the cappuccino didn’t really taste like one. A highlight was the great walk and cycle path right outside the hotel that leads all the way to Palma. We also hired bikes directly through the hotel, thanks to their partnership with a nearby cycle centre. Bike hire 8euros per day.

Perfect stay, lovely spotless hotel, perfect location. The reception staff were really helpful, the breakfast was spectacular, the pool and area was cleaned every day and tje rooftop pool was serene, loved every second.
