Amazing!!!

Beautiful hotel. Poor soundproofing - woken up several times by guest walking around or dropping items on the floor above. The Straits restaurant was mediocre and overpriced - definitely recommend the Pizza at the other restaurant. Gym was amazing. Kids’ pool was cold. Far from town - carriage rides were expensive, so not the best hotel if you aren’t into walking. Super fun lawn games and fire pits with free s’mores kits.

A beautiful hotel, in an almost idilic setting, with beautiful views, far from the hustle & bussel of the world. We stayed in a 3rd floor king sized room (no elevators) with a magnificent view of the water and the Mackinaw Bridge. The staff are students from around the world and strive to be as attentive to your needs as possible, unfortunately the kitchen staff failed on 2 seperate occassions. A guest has to immediately learn to decompress their hectic life style to the slower pace of the island. For instance the 2 1/2 mile ride to downtown takes apporx. 30+ minutes by horse drawn buggy and the time schedule is very flexible.

The grounds were beautiful, the food was delicious and everything was so clean and well taken care of. We had wonderful service from Tom helping us with the fire pit and wood and he also helped us with the pool one morning. We also had wonderful service at the front desk with Emily and Alex getting our luggage to the ferry.

Everything was wonderful. It is truly a beautiful place.

It is a beautiful property. Service could be improved but overall everyone was genuinely nice. Just a few hiccups but worked with Management to iron out.

I don’t write reviews often but Emily checked us in and made our stay special. Each day she greet us with a huge smile and make sure everything was spot on with our stay. Big greetings too from George who went above and beyond to make our stay special. We travel often and truly appreciate moments with folks who make our travels extraordinary!!!

Beautiful property, super clean and well maintained. We had a balcony that faced the water, which had the most amazing view. This hotel is far from all the noise of downtown area, it is very peaceful. Great food options both for lunch and dinner. The staff are wonderful, we had the privilege of meeting a young girl and her brother that were from Turkey and they were our servers, we had great conversations with them. I can’t wait to book this hotel again.
