Econo Lodge Cloverdale

We booked this and called to cancel within a half hour of doing and of course they wouldn't let us, well we could of with a $300 fee. We booked 2 rooms but when I realized how far away it was from where we were at it was very inconvenient to drive for a night so sleep. We are in town for the covered bridge festival and couldn't get our camper here until Monday. We stayed 1 night only but had to pay for 3 nights. The hotel itself was not bad at all, except for parking.

Minimal breakfast offerings, price was not matched to the accommodations

The bed bugs. Being switched rooms at 12:30 am because of live bedbugs. Being denied a refund because management at this hotel feels bed bugs aren’t a worthy reason to be upset and expect compensation. Here is transcripts of the communications about this situation. We changed the room and guest was ok with it. Me: That's unfortunate you don't feel like changing rooms at 12:30 am and the fact my wife sat in a bed with bed bugs all day isn't worthy of a refund. We haven't even been apologized to and it seems like you feel like bed bugs are not that big of deal. I'm shocked by that response to be honest I'll be sure to leave some reviews on hotel websites and yelp so others won't have to have this same experience. Thanks for your timely response and help. The breakfast said waffles, there were no waffles.

The room was clean. Large bathroom. We were just passing through to get back home to oklahoma and needed a quick place to stay and found this place. Got there a little later in the evening so we didn't use anything offered like the washing machine area or ice machine, but did notice they had the area for it. It was an older place you could tell, but was kept clean and taken care of to the best of their abilities it looked like so that was good. A pretty simple place for a nights sleep. Clean towels, sheets, comfortable beds... if your looking for a clean basic night to stay, this is it.

Very small area for checking in main entry and eating area for breakfast are kinda all in one. We checked out extra early to get back on the road and head home so didn't have breakfast. But when I went in to check out and return key I noticed they had cereal, coffee, maybe some fruit, toast and yogurt? Not sure what all but didn't look too big.
