Price was good for a Saturday. Availability of the leisure facilities is a great bonus.

Extremely dated room. Rotting window frames in the bathroom. Electric shower.

"Good location for visiting Bingley etc, Mercure need to invest and bring this hotel from the 1980s to 2026 At least."

Location

This hotel is showing its age. In places it is looking very tidy and tatty, the room was clean although it was not serviced after the first night. Reception accommodating. Bar staff pleasant. We had a card charged to the room, although the room was already paid BUT we were not allowed to charge anything to the room!

Conveniently just under 30mns from Leeds airport. The old original building and the grounds are beautiful. We took the cheapest room, it was in the old building, decent & clean. Nice comfortable beds. Good value for money.

Not a dislike, but it feels like the place (parts of it anyway) is ready for a refurb, a bit of TLC. But for the price we paid for the night (50€), we can't complain.
