"They quietly charged me $5 a night for parking."

The stay at The Hampton Inn in Farmville was okay. EXCEPT…a few days after my stay, which I paid through Expedia, I notice that The Hampton Inn has billed my credit card $5.27. I called and they informed me that there was a $5 fee for parking. Of course, I was never informed that there was going to be a fee for parking. The hotel is in a rural setting, at least 2 miles from “downtown” Farmville. How can they justify charging $5 a night for parking…and not informing guests of that “hidden” fee upfront? Disappointing.
