There was no electricity or water and we had to get ready for a funeral service . The room stank and was dirty. I would like a refund or discount but they said they couldn't do it since I booked through Booking.com. Can you help?

Mildew and dirty bath tub, need renovation in here. In the suite the la.p cords are all in the way, the iron board was dirty. Stay at Tru Hilton, this hotel was opened 2005 and still look like it smh........................................

The hotel is undergoing renovations. The breakfast was good, but the seating was poor, due to worn out furniture that I assume they are in the process of replacing. The loud work started at 08:30 which wasn't a problem for us, but don't expect to sleep in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the y had a policy of cleaning every other day, which I did not realize until we returned to our hotel that next evening. I know people want to be environmentally friendly, but there were two adults and two kids staying in this room. There is no way that we can go two days without the trash being dumped and towels replaced. I ignored any disrepairs as they were in the process of renovating.

"A reasonable place to stay."

Room was reasonable. Staff was exceptional.

Requested a ground floor room. I got an email reply back stating they could do that and then ended up with a third floor room.
