"Surprised"

Amazing place that has such a chilled atmosphere. So close to London, yet felt so far from hustle and bustle. Food and Bar was good, staff were welcoming and helpful. Yea, it could do with a lick of paint and updating, but for the price we paid it was exceptional value for money. Recently stayed at a prestige golf resort hotel in Midlands, that cost three times as much and it was dire in comparison. Loved Coulsdon Manor and we will be back.

Nothing really, bit of TLC and it would be perfect.

La chambre était confortable et le personnel agréable et serviable. Nous avons pris un très bon diner au restaurant. L'emplacement est calme et apaisant.

La salle de bain était un peu vétuste. Un peu plus de choix au petit déjeuner serait agréable.

"When it’s a cheap day, then its well worth the money."

The position, atmosphere and the staff are great. The price is good on a cheap day, but far too expensive for what it is, when not.

The rooms are a little dated and the buffet breakfast was cold and not at all good. When there isn’t a buffet and individually cooked it’s superb.

Room was ok

Bathroom was awful. Shower just dripped water Mouldy bath Kettle cord was too short, I had to put kettle on floor to boil water for tea Room bit dark. Lighting too dark

"A pleasant and quiet hotel"

The hotel is set in large grounds including a golf course with adequate parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size. Meals were available in the bar / restaurant. The breakfast, english and continental, was very good.

The hotel is advertised with free parking but unfortunately the management had just had a charging system installed. Visitors could also be made aware at the time of booking that the hotel lies within the London LEV/ULEV emission controlled zone which could be an issue for those with older vehicles which may require registration with the authorities
