NYX Hotel Ibiza - Adults Only

Good buffet breakfast with omelette station. Central location close to O Beach etc.

I had high hopes for this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was far from relaxing. Despite informing staff at check-in that I didn’t like heights, I was placed on a high floor (room 1601) with no balcony, even though I specifically booked a room with one. That night, I was kept awake by a loud generator humming outside the window. I requested a room change the next morning and was moved to an accessible room with twin beds (room 1222), which was quieter, at least initially! Peace didn’t last long. I ended up next to a group of loud guests who partied late into the night, shouting, playing music and banging on walls, which went on until 3am. I managed to get hold of reception after trying to figure out how to use the toy-like phone and eventually a staff member came up to speak to them, and while the music volume dropped, the noise continued throughout the week. The air conditioning barely worked, and the room was uncomfortably hot for the entire stay. The bed was hard and gave me back ache, the pillows were too flat, and the duvet was basically a thin sheet. The bathroom was outdated and didn’t match the rest of the room’s decor, it felt old, worn, and not very clean. I even spotted silverfish on the floor. While the decor in common areas was trendy, the walls were paper-thin, and my room overlooked a run-down hotel and an unfinished building site. The breakfast was very poor in both variety and quality. I had pizza & chips from the on-site food truck once and it made me sick. The upstairs bar area also had ants on the carpet which was unpleasant. I also noticed people “reserving” sunbeds all day without actually using them, a frustrating habit the hotel did nothing about. Reception staff came across as cold and unhelpful, which added to the overall discomfort. Things to note for other guests: 🧷 The hairdryer in the room was old, discoloured, and gave off a burning smell. Bring your own! 🧷 Lighting in the room was poor and there was no plug socket near the mirror. 🧷 The general atmosphere in the hotel was unfriendly, and I didn’t feel comfortable throughout my stay due to other guests being bitchy. 🧷 Location was ok, close to supermarkets and a few restaurants, but I’d recommend staying in San Antonio instead for more variety. 🧷 San Antonio is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel or you can get a water taxi which costs €5. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this hotel. It has potential, but too many issues made it a disappointing experience, from noise and poor facilities to an unwelcoming service. The only real highlights were the sunsets and the outdoor bar DJ area, which provided some much needed escape from the rest of the stay.

Definitely will be back at this hotel everything and everyone is very polite 10/10 recommend…

A really beautiful hotel with lots of attention to detail, vibrant colours and lots of space to do whatever you want. Rooms cleaned every day which is amazing. Staff were slightly standoffish and not too kind/happy to be there but overall happy with the service. Very good for girls or boys trip and very close to O beach and bars and has good transport links like bus right outside aswell as right on the beach. Also very instagrammable and beautiful hotel. I would stay here again

We had a really bad experience in this hotel and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First we had a separate beds we asked to change and they said to ask the following day. During the next day our room was directly facing a very noisy concert which finished at 00:45am. When we ask the reception about that they said we are sorry and when I asked if we could get a later check out (original one is at 10:30am) because obviously we were not able to asleep with all that noise, they said they can't. The minimum you can do is inform guests coming on these days that there will be concerts and don't say you weren't aware because you are part of the community so they must send this kind of information. Anyway bad experience, staff not helpful and honestly doesn't really care. Run from this hotel.

9/10. Nice 4 stars hotel. Nice food options both for breakfast and dinner buffets. Nice staffs and easy check in. Great location. This is going to be my hotel whenever I’m in Ibiza.

This is the 2nd time we have visited this hotel. The first time it was an Aluha hotel in 2019. Overall, I can understand why it has changed to adults only hotel. The size of the pool isn't really big enough for families. However, the hotel enjoys a great location. The downside is that it is popular eith stag and hen parties who can get a bit rowdy. Nothing major, but if you are travelling as a couple it does spoil the atmosphere a bit. The bed was the most disappointing aspect. The two single beds are not wide enough. However, the aircon and cleanliness of the hotel is very good. Breakfast cannot be faulted and the staff are all fantastic. A special mention too for Abi. What an all round lovely guy who does a fantastic job. We were so pleased to see he was still there even after all of the changes.

We enjoyed staying in NYX. Good location, beautiful sea, nice food. We would go back

Beautiful hotel in fabulous location. Had west facing premium room with fantastic views over the bay and beaches. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was very varied with good choice but things that should have been hot were only barely warm at best.
