Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel

The hotel is very close to the sea, the beach is beautiful and clean. The food in the hotel is good, but the business is slower. The choice of food is large in the restaurants, from European to local food.

Amazing location just on the beach. rooms are small but very modern and clean. Not for business travelers since wifi is very slow and not stable.

Coral strands was indeed a smart choice for us . The location was perfect with direct access to the beach and shopping and key facilities in the vicinity considering transport is not easy here . But that’s just the beginning . The team here is very friendly . Starting with Shihan at the guest relations desk , very helpful and ensures that everything is taken care of . They figured out our preferences and gave us their best . The birthday cake and room decor was very thoughtful . The room was lavish , house keeping on point and the restaurant felt like home . Restaurant staff were always keen to serve both at breakfast and the ocean deck . They had taken care of every detail like the switch board had all kind of socket options wherever u are from . This was a big deal not having to run around for a charging socket .Chef Paul insisted not to take breakfast before a rough sea trip to Praslin . Again empathy and care . The general warmth of the place and the staff is a clear positive . Made our vacation extra special !

She is outstanding professional, friendly, and always ready to help. Her communication is excellent, and her warm hospitality truly made our stay memorable. We had a truly wonderful stay at the Coral Strand Hotel, and I felt it was important to leave this review because, before arriving, we were honestly quite put off by some of the negative reviews we had read online. I can confidently say that once we arrived, our experience was completely different and far better than expected. We were travelling with our 9-month-old daughter, and the hotel made us feel very comfortable and at ease from the moment we arrived. All of the construction work is finished, and the hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic beachfront location. From the start, we felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated, and throughout our stay the atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and pleasant. The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff as a whole were warm, professional, and always happy to help, which made travelling with a baby much easier and more enjoyable. A special mention must go to the General Manager, Eva, who was extremely attentive and looked after us very well — honestly more than was needed. She took the time to ensure everything was right for us and made us feel truly valued as guests. Her care and professionalism did not go unnoticed and made a real difference to our stay. A very big shout out to Chris from the front desk, who truly made our entire stay. Chris was exceptionally attentive and respectful to both me and my family. He greeted us every single day with a smile on his face and always took the time to ask if we needed anything at all. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for him. He consistently went far above and beyond what was required of him. Chris also gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit and things to do during our stay, which genuinely enhanced our holiday and helped us make the most of our time in Seychelles. His attitude, friendliness, and dedication stood out massively, and he made us feel comfortable, welcome, and cared for at all times. Every hotel needs a Chris — he is a huge credit to the Coral Strand Hotel. Overall, we had a very nice, relaxing, and enjoyable stay, and we would absolutely return. I would strongly encourage others not to be discouraged by older or negative reviews — our experience was fantastic, and we are very glad we came.
