Great Wolf Lodge Pocono Mountains, PA

My stay at Great Wolf Lodge Pocono Mountains was okay overall. The place is clean and definitely a great choice for families with kids—lots of activities and fun for the little ones. However, it’s not suitable for couples or anyone looking for a relaxing stay. It was very loud and extremely busy the whole time. The biggest downside for me was the food. I had pizza and garlic bread from the resort and ended up with stomach issues (diarrhea) that lasted five days. The food quality needs serious improvement. Would only recommend if you’re going with kids and can handle the noise and crowd. Otherwise, it’s not the right fit.

Overall it’s okay

It was huge and it was so much to do it actually wore the kids out. The only thing I will say is that somebody went to the bathroom in the pool and it took a while for them to clean it out to me that wasn’t good but other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

As family we like the place it’s very nice special for kids also the staff they’re very friendly and respectful .

Well the place is nice and it has a lot of options inside for younger children. I feel like they nickel and die me to death. I didn’t know that parking was separate so I had to pay an extra $26 just to park for 12 hours the rooms are big and the beds are semi comfortable. Quiet time is supposed to be between 11 and seven, but I had children running up above our heads for half the night. I am up early and there’s nothing open early for adults not even coffee. I feel like they charge a little bit too much for what you get. We came early, but we still had to wait until 4 o’clock for our room to be ready. In order to use the pool area you have to change in the changing room and then buy a locker that cost $17 on up depending on the size you need. Just to put your valuables or whatever else you need in there until your room is ready.

We enjoyed our stay at great wolf . Our son had a great time . The beds were comfortable and the room was clean . However I didn’t like that I had to ask for an iron and iron board to use that wasn’t so clean . Also one other down fall was the noise , some other families were making noise up until 4 am inside and outside the location.

Great place for a family getaway.

I checked in at the kiosk at abou1:30 with the help of a staff member. I was told I would get a text when the room was ready. We headed to a bball tournament and never got a text. I called from the tournament when I hasn’t heard anything. It was 5.45. Checked my email and saw there was a problem that’s why I didn’t have room assignment and I needed to come to the front desk. I should have gotten a text or a call about that. I wasn’t notified that I needed to come to the front desk. Not good. I had 2 small children with me.

Nice but we had trouble sleeping in the morning. Each day at 6 am trucks and working stuff make a loud noise and our kids woke up and cried. Our windows and patio door were on the back side of the building where all shuff equipment was parked. Also in water park life guard guys not pay attention what’s doing on in the water.
