"Nice hotel near train station"

Great pool, strong Air Con, helpful staff. Corner rooms are best for view of the nile. Morning breakfast is quite good. Walking distance (3 min) from train station. Good food options nearby and a lovely rooftop patio where you can enjoy the sunset.

"A dodgy, dirty hotel. Stay Away. "

We stayed in Marhaba Palace for one night. It is located in downtown Aswan and the reality has nothing to do with the pictures we saw on Expedia. It's an old, dodgy hotel with dark corridors, dirty bathrooms with no toilet paper and a grim atmosphere. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"I would rather be homeless then stay here.."

This is the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The room was absolutely nasty dirty. Every light switch had dirt hanging on it. The sink in the bathroom leaked and there was molding tile everywhere..There are many nicer hotels for $20 more per night.
