Angel's Share Hotel

We stayed here just before the start of December. Our room was lovely and had a Dyson fan heater which was fab otherwise it would have been a bit chilly. Staff are really friendly too. The only thing that disappointed us was that there wasn’t a separate bar for hotel guests so in an evening you didn’t have your own space it was just a normal bar it would have been really nice if guests had their own bar space with guaranteed seats.

The food was amazing and Elena (our server) was great! The vibes were so good, good music choices and everyone was so lovely!

Elena was a really sweet friendly server! Made for a very wholesome evening. Christmas dinner was tasty and great atmosphere.

The nicest most kindest and most accommodating experience we had yet Elena got us in very quickly to a fantastic booth and adjusted our drink order once I saw the fabulous cocktail menu with no complaints and assisted my son with rapid eating. It was a fantastic time. highly recommend great ambience and Elena was beyond perfect.

We stayed one night here as a treat to ourselves, we actually wish we’d just booked a Premier Inn! We had ‘Billy Connolly’ room and it was just terrible! After reading the reviews of the hotel we thought it would be amazing, and on the surface it is. They do the big things well but the basics bad. The room was tiny, you could not walk past the tv without banging your head, the mattress was paper thin, although actually comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities were trendy, but not the most practical, a Nespresso type machine would have been a bit easier and less mess. But the bathroom, OUCH! The photos attached do not do it justice! Mould, hole in roof and clogged sink, not to mention the toilet basin jammed beside the bath tub giving no room. The one positive thing is the shower pressure, wow, but that comes at a cost! The shower panel is non existent and unfortunately the great shower causes the bathroom to flood! Don’t think we’d rush back, but very interested to hear what management have to say, as we’re weren’t even asked ‘how was your stay?’ 😔
