Angel's Share Hotel

Nicely positioned and reasonably priced for the location. Very adequate for a short stay and well managed and staffed. Lovely bar / restaurant.

All staff were very friendly. We arrived early and there was no issue with storage of our bags until our room was ready. They even moved the bags to our room for us. All necessary amenities in room including fridge, kettle, iron, safe, towel warmer, etc. Easy walk to most areas of interest.

We stayed here our first night after flying to Scotland from the U.S. We had a nice room with a large bed. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant was very good. It's a convenient location to Princess Street and the gardens below the castle. Also convenient to the Hop On Hop Off bus which was a great way to get oriented on our first day.

Safe didn’t work, room was very small, no place to even lsy a suitcase.older building so not more noise than expected,restaurant staff not very attentive, the food was okay

The staff and team were super friendly and professional. Unfortunately the room was a total bust. There’s no AC or any kind of ventilation other than being able to partially open a window that faces a very noisy alley. No ventilation in bathroom either, so the entire room gets hot, muggy, and stuffy even in cold weather. Theres a fan tucked in the corner that really doesn’t do much. The rate came almost to $480 cad per night, and this is not worth that rate at all. Room had a random dirty mug in the bathroom floor left by someone before us. Would not return unless it’s for a budget, and the price comes down and reflects that.

The hotel is a nice one in a fantastic location within easy walking distance of most of the neighborhoods and attractions you'd want to see. The staff was friendly, there's an elevator to easily get your bags up to the higher floors, and it was very convenient to have a restaurant on-site for easy breakfasts and/or quick dinners. The food was good, too. My one-bed room wasn't expansive, but it was enough space for my needs. There wasn't AC ... It was cool enough when I was there that I didn't really need it, but there was a Dyson fan in the room to help cool it if needed, and the window opened. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, good pressure in the shower, all that stuff. It was also pretty neat that every room was named after a notable Scottish person. I wasn't bothered by any noise at night when I was trying to sleep, even though the restaurant/bar did seem fairly busy and had live music on the weekends.

Perfect! Close to everything!

This hotel needs a major renovation. Shower did not work, towels were poor quality, building is dated.

Great Friday night with football, music and fine spirits served by Laura. Right there making wonderful Rob Roys and small plates at the bar. Not our first time in not would it be the last of Laura's on.
