Colour Hotel

Bathroom on another floor; Excellent reception (patience, calm...);

Unbeatable location. Reasonable breakfast. Shared facilities were always available when I wanted them.

I guess you get what you pay for. 45 dollars a night and shared bath. But the bed was terrible. If you want to rest well avoid it the matress basically gets curved when you lay down. The less firm you can try. The staff is not that customer service oriented either. They seem to be more defensive than to pay attention.

Old and too expensive and definitely not a three stars maybe 2 and surrounding very dirty as the property is located right in front of the Central Station

We chose Frankfurt as an alternative to a Berlin as the flights were cheaper. I really did not know what to expect. I took it as I found and enjoyed the differences. The skyscraper financial district with its huge collar and tie sculpture was a buzz. Then the contrast of the old town Romberg was back to the more Bavarian Germany. We had chicken and chips in the square which was really good for €10.00. This city is vibrant and financial. The Colour hotel was a small friendly hotel with good staff. We had a spacious and airy room with four single beds for myself my mum and two teenage girls. There was a small hang over balcony in ours. However as the hotel is on a busy main road it can be noisy at night. There are back rooms to change to I presume but don't let that put you off. They do buffet breakfast for €7.50 each if you want it downstairs.The girls enjoyed early evening walks around the city to the large blue Euro sign they have in the city centre. My mum and I took calmer walks down the banks of the river Main which is only a short walk from the Colour hotel and very pleasant. We went for three nights which was just enough and embraced It all. The train station is right near this hotel and they have lots of shops within the great station building. Most shops spoke good English and the taxis from airport around €30 to €35 about 15 mins we're friendly. Skyline shopping mall 15 mins walk. Airport large so give yourselves plenty of time for check ins.

Never book colour hotel in summer. Major issue with wifi, literally make your experience of living worst.

Breakfast was average. Room is small and without air condition or fan or fridge or water boiler. Noisy as faces main road Very convenient to many locations

very handy for the station and local tram stops which is exactly what I needed

Was given a room located on a floor where renovation work was being carried out (see photo) with tools lying around the cement flooring pathway), plus the room door couldn't even close properly. The only uttered by the receptionist when I requested for room change was "why?", before she passed me key to another room. The question which i couldn't figure out was why i was given the first room when other rooms were available. Definitely i would avoid going to this hotel.

The hotel room was clean and spacious with nice, high ceilings. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the main station making it great for transit options especially to the airport. We would definitely stay again
