Comfortable beds, lovely shower, and a decent breakfast! Fab balcony and very accommodating staff. Really enjoyed our stay and would come again! For some, they may not find it perfectly clean but it wasn’t dirty (e.g some bedding from previous guests left on a chair in the hallway or the odd stain on the spare bed in our room). Comfortable and private. Lift is a little small but I think this would be the case for most places in the area. Good amenities like the free coffee machine. We really did enjoy the breakfast despite some reviews expressing otherwise. Loved the selection of cured meats and their pan-au-chocolat was probably the best we had during our time… I ate about 4 on one of the days oopsie! Great price and honestly the staff were really nice! Also made good use of the robe and slippers. Felt like our own apartment the rooms were so spacious!

The room had cockroaches. The bathroom was very uncomfortable. When you showered, the bathroom floor got flooded. I asked to be changed to another room, the front desk wanted me to leave my luggage with them and leave us without a room for 6 hs to change my room so that he could change us to the same room we paid for. He should have easily given us an upgrade after the cockroaches incident. The new room was not properly clean. There was so much dust below the bed. The beds were 2 singles out together. I won’t be coming back.

Great hotel. Everyone was nice-Concierge, Dining Room & cleaning. 2 minute walk to train station to visit the entire Riviera. Shops and restaurants & attractions all within walking distance in Nice. Smaller, clean and eco-friendly hotel. Breakfast was the same every day but varied options. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Staff was fantastic to deal with. Unfortunately the garden area in the back was under some renovations so we couldn’t partake in that space but the hotel itself was gorgeous.

I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff, who were consistently kind and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, from providing helpful recommendations for local attractions to promptly addressing any needs I had. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Truly memorable experience.

We recently stayed for two nights at the Excelsior hotel in Nice. We loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly. I did mention to the staff upon check in that we were there celebrating my Husband's birthday and was hoping for a nice room. We got a very small room with a miniscule balcony. Although our room was tiny, it was charming. Spotlessly clean and a fantastic shower on the bathroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a hotel I loved coffee and water station in the lounge, such a fantastic idea to be able to take bottles of sparkling water up to you room and at the breakfast also. The breakfast offerings were small but perfectly adequate. We loved the fresh bread and the cheese selection. The location is the hotel is great, 2 minutes walk from the train station and less than 15 minutes to the promenade. The decor in the hotel is lovely. We would definitely return here on our next visit to Nice.

I recently stayed at Hotel Excelsior Nice, and it was a fantastic experience. This boutique hotel has a unique and quirky charm, and its location is ideal – just a 2-minute walk from Nice-Ville Station and perfectly situated between the old town and the new town. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was outstanding – always polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful. However, I must give special recognition to Angel, who is truly an asset to the hotel. His hospitality, communication skills, and knowledge were exceptional. He was caring, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. The daily breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety, setting us up perfectly for the day ahead. I highly recommend Hotel Excelsior Nice and will definitely be returning. A wonderful experience from start to finish.

Great breakfast. Customer service. Stored our bags two hours before checkin so we could walk to the sea and lunch.
