Amazing property. Stairs could be issue. Property amazing for wildlife viewing. Toucans, sloths, 2 kinds of monkeys viewed from front of room.

We spent a week in a bungalow at Ecotica and had a wonderful time. It’s is a wonderful boutique hotel with breakfast by the pool and a great restaurant. We saw 3 kinds of monkeys daily and Scarlett Macaws and toucans. We had such a nice time and staff was so helpful and friendly.

I highly recommend this property. The grounds and wildlife are amazing. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the rooms were very clean and nice.

While this stay was pleasant, its price (particularly in comparison to other hotels in the area) feels a bit too expensive. While the breakfast is made-to-order, the pre-set savory options do not include fruit and service was very slow. The front desk personnel were responsive on WhatsApp and were able to swap out our bottle of sparkling wine welcome amenity for smoothies at their restaurant (appreciated as we were not drinking on this trip). The property is clean, beautiful, and in excellent condition. It is also within walking distance to grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. The laundry service is on a per-item basis, not per kilogram.

"When Can We Go Again?"

Our family loved this hotel. All the staff was friendly and very customer focused. The rooms were excellent...great bedding, beautiful decor, robes, espresso makers, and super clean. We spent so much time just walking the property because the tropical variety of flora was stunning. Lots of stairs and we had my mom with us who has 83 year old knees, but we just took it slow and she enjoyed this lovely hotel as well!

Trendy hotel by the mountain. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Easy access to the beaches and parks. Very relaxing.
