A Tropical Paradise at ECOTICA Boutique Hotel I can’t say enough great things about ECOTICA Boutique Hotel! Nestled in the breathtaking surroundings of Manuel Antonio, this place truly feels like a slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. The hotel perfectly balances luxury and eco-consciousness. The rooms are beautifully designed with local touches and are immaculately clean, offering stunning views of the lush rainforest. Waking up to the sound of tropical birds and seeing monkeys playing in the trees right outside our balcony was magical! The location is unbeatable. It’s close to Manuel Antonio National Park, pristine beaches, and fantastic restaurants, yet it feels like a private, tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was the on-site dining experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with locally sourced ingredients. Their attention to detail and commitment to sustainability truly shine through. Whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure, ECOTICA Boutique Hotel is the perfect base. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica. A 5-star experience from start to finish!

ECOTICA was clean, with a beautifully maintained pool and breakfast area. We saw more wildlife lounging at the resort than in the national park, including two scarlet macaws that spent the entire morning over the pool, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, and toucans. The food, however, was Americanized. The on-site YOLO restaurant is American food and music, and was quite loud until about 10 pm. While the resort was excellent in terms of service, amenities, etc., I can't recommend visiting Manuel Antonio for more than a day. The park is over-crowded and swarming with men posing as guides with fake badges demanding payment for parking and services. The beach is beautiful and worth a day of exploration. Stay away from the national park.

Excellent property with nice location. Since we could not take the complimentary wine, we were offered smoothies instead. Unfortunately, the person at the pool bar who made the smoothies was not friendly at all, and did not even wait to take the correct orders before making our smoothies. We ended up dumping ALL the smoothies because they were done incorrectly.
