Mitsis Rodos Maris

Really enjoy our stay!!! Pictures don't reflect all benefits of this hotel. Loads of flowers and greens, NO SUNBED FIGHTS at the swimming pool or on the beach!!! Staff friendly and always were ready to help!!! Room service just "invisible" but room were always clean and tidy when we comes back... Three swimming pools, private beach, bar and pizza at the beach... Entertainment were reasonably good, but you always had a space at the bar or the balcony to just enjoy your relaxing time. Hotel have it's own supermarket where most of the stuff cheaper than in outside shops. Watersports not all inclusive, but quite reasonable price. Hotel have three restaurants (Italian, Chinese and Greek). The Greek restaurant absolutely fantastic! Food: I would give it 4.8 as not a big choice on fruits (probably due to the beginning of season), but in average big choice on all sorts of meat, seafood, fish, vegetables, desserts. The greek traditional coffee they make in the morning amazing!!! Alcohol: GOOD!!! Not like in the Egypt, where all spirits is in the same shaped bottles just with different stickers. Beer is tasty and smooth. No headaches in the morning. The only one thing were missed for me is the GYM... But who's going to all inclusive holidays and care about the gym???

A 5* Hotel? Certainly looks that way when you enter reception. Polished marble everywhere, the first impression outstanding. I found the reception check in to be speedy and comprehensive and we were offered food even though we arrived after the dining room had closed. A 5* room is stretching it a little, though it was spacious, had a mini bar which was refilled every other day free of charge. The room was cleaned daily. The balcony was on the small side the the view was breathtaking! Probably more like a 4* The Food - Breaking this down into the three servings and starting with breakfast. Everything you could possible want here with just about all tasted catered for. It's not Full -English by the way but you didn't ought to be going to Greece for that. There were cereals, a variety of breads, fruit, cheese, cold meats and salads. The warm food for breakfast was pretty standard. Lunch was a delight every day, the fresh produce was wonderful the waiters attentive and there was a huge variety of foods to cater for most tastes. Dinner wasn't as good, the food often lacking imagination and poorly heated through. Again the fresh foods were outstanding though. At this point I should mention we also visited the Chinese and Greek restaurants onsite and both were excellent. My only criticisms would be the size of the glasses served in the bar were ridiculously small and the fact the dress code for dinner wasn't observed or insisted upon by the staff.

Very good hotel. Excellent restaurants including Italian, Greek and Chinese. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Accommodation is a mix of hotel rooms and bungalows. Right on the beach!

Very relaxing holiday. Too hot (40 C) but that's no one's fault. The hotel itself has a main building plus many small blocks around. Main pool ok but could do with some revamping, children's pool looked ok and a further small pool, more secluded and not as deep was blissful. The food was very good, always something yummy and the fruit was delicious. Would not recommend to anyone with children or walking difficulties as there are so many steps all around and inside the hotel. There are many levels to this hotel and there are too few lifts and toilet facilities. The beach, although close, was a gritty beach and quite pleasant once you got there but found it very hard to walk on. The sea was wonderful for swimming. Plenty of water sports available. Big bonus not having to pay for loungers, umbrellas and towels. The evening entertainment was poor. Overall we had a good holiday.

Hotel is not 5* in my opinion. Stay ok but very big hotel so quite impersonal. Hard to get into specialty restaurants - book as soon as you arrive! Food is excellent. Beach is well organised. Hard to get loungers around main pool. Family room was 2 single beds pushed together and glass screen between - kids on hard sofa beds and air con not in kids room. They had to keep door open and pass through our room to get to bathroom not good for holiday romance! Reception staff really unhelpful - we were already at hotel and they said they didn't have hotels.com booking - kept fobbing us off and took 3 days to sort it out. Free Wifi only available in reception and could take 30 mins to connect! Charge 40 euro for 2 weeks use of safe. Lots of steps and very slippery around pool area - not good for old people or small kids. Animation/entertainer team excellent. However son 11 and having done Mark Warner we found kids club very poor for this age group. Daughter 16 and never found anything for her to do with other teenagers (seemed to meet each other hanging around for wifi). Games room is an arcade! Ok but would not return. Floor in room never felt clean. Minibar only ever 2 days.

Hotel staff can be a little hit and miss and take some time to warm up, the pool bar girls were the exception, Maria and Irene work so hard! All in all a good stay pools are better at the mitsis village up the road as only one small pool is fresh (non salt) water and stings the eyes a little, if going take goggles!

Large complex which is clean with well maintained grounds.Rooms cleaned everyday but we did have problems with ants.Food plentyful but of poor quality no bacon for breakfast.Waitress service in the main bar area so did not have to wait long for service at the bar.No nightlife in the resort only a few bars & shops .Overall a good hotel but 4* at best ideal for anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in the sun.

THE HOTEL IS GREAT, BUT ONLY ONE DETAIL: THEY CHARGE 4 EUROS FOR USE OF THE SAFE BOX IN THE ROOM?¡¡??

The rooms are a bit basic but very clean. The resort is very big but you are not given any info on arrival, no maps, no information about the restaurants or facilities. There is sport/entertainment all day but you are not handed any timetable or information. Apart from the lack of information, the resort is fantastic. The staff are brilliant, the animation team work really hard to keep everyone busy and entertained. It's a fantastic place. The food was great, something for everyone. There is a beach attached to the hotel and they even have water aerobics and activities there, the same as by the pool. The cocktails aren't the best but normal drinks are fine - especially the iced coffee! The wi-fi isn't very good, there is only one area where the free wi-fi works and it's slow. We paid for superfast wi-fi in the room and that wasn't much better! We loved every minute there and would definitely recommend this place and would definitely go back again.
