Mitsis Rodos Maris

A perfect place for families with fabulous facilities and great entertainment for all throughout the day and night! I am very fortunate to have stayed in many wonderful hotels around the world, but none of these come close to the incredible service we have received here. Under the ever present guidance of the amazing Stavros, the friendliest, happiest and welcoming staff are there to provide the greatest of service to their guests. We stayed at the resort with our family, including our three year old granddaughter who has particular dietary requirements and from the moment we met him on our first night, the incredible Stefanos, the Maitre D’, could not do enough to ensure not just our granddaughter’s needs were met, but also the whole family’s requests. To say that both Stavros and Stefanos went above and beyond is an understatement and my entire family benefitted greatly from their care and assistance. I can’t mention each and every member of staff we encountered by name, the list would be too long, so apart from those already mentioned, I must thank Chef Yannis who was always ready with a smile and happy to prepare food specifically for my granddaughter. Irini in the main restaurant- so friendly & helpful each time we visited and Dora, our server on many occasions who was so aware of our requirements. Tsambiha and Maria in the brunch restaurant - so welcoming, friendly & patient! Come to this hotel, enjoy its amazing hospitality and have a wonderful vacation.

Positive: great animation team. Very nice evening programs, live music bands for the restaurants and bars. Excellent main restaurant, good thematic restaurants. Good quality drinks in the main bar, friendly staff. Negative: noisy airco, aging bathrooms, aging/dirty furniture.

Lovely staff, lovely premises, delicious food, very clean. Love the fact that all the restaurants are included in the all-Inclusive package. The sea is very close and the water is clear and beautiful. The pool area is a little bit too small and crammed, and that's a minus for us. The music is too loud at the child friendly side. All in all we love the hotel and the area.

The hotel was perfectly nice but not 5 star. The room and setting was nice and the food was generally ok but again not 5 star. The hotel pool was seawater which I have never before experienced in a top hotel. The entertainment and kids club which were a real incentive to booking this holiday for our two boys was very poor and repetitive (evening entertainment) and kids daytime activities were sparse. The hotel sun loungers were uncomfortable and need to be unguarded to have covers if this hotel is trying to better its standard. There was a Beach bar and pizza kiosk but a better restaurant on the beach is needed. Ok holiday but won't be returning as not as advertised.

Vast area so never felt cramped. Excellent food and friendly staff.

Great time had by me and the family. Great location for family break. Very clean and friendly staff. Food was fantastic, beer was good so were the cocktails. My boys enjoyed the daily activities like football and table tennis competitions. Only negatives were overcrowding at the pool and loud music in the mornings was a bit annoying. Having said this we would definitely return.

Stayed in a sea view bungalow as a family of 4, not loads of room but we hardly spent any time in there. Food was delicious, we only ate in the main restaurant one evening as spent the rest of the time in the A la carte restaurants which were unlimited. Beach was lovely with a choice of watersports. We are a young family (with two sons aged almost 2 and 4) and this resort was excellent for us. It is a very good family resort. The food and service is excellent. We arrived at 01:30 in the morning and could still eat dinner. The pizza at the beach was great if you were hungry between meals and coffee and icecream is available too. We easily booked the alacarte breakfast and dinners. The Brunch and Greek restaurant were particularly good. The swimming pools, entertainment, all very good. The sea is crystal clear. The beach is pebbled but we knew this. To find a great sandy beach, you can drive to Agathi. There are many nationalities of guests which we liked. I would recommend Mitsis to anyone who wants a quality resort which caters for families.

Fantastic hotel. The staff where very friendly, helpful, professional and very customer orientated. There was a wide choice of food and venues and always a sun lounger available. An excellent hotel worthy of the 5 star rating.

Everything was just wonderful, particularly the staff!
