Its my second time here Was really wonderful time, specially for the kids. Everything is just perfect

Another lovely stay at the Maris. Excellent staff, lovely food in the main and thematic restaurants, excellent cleanliness everywhere, lovely clean towels and beautifully cleaned rooms every day. I had a knee injury sustained before our holiday and the staff could not have been more helpful in assisting me by taking me to the beach (on the luggage buggy!), providing me with ice packs to help my knee, moving us from an external apartment with steep steps to a more suitable room in the main building and always enquiring how I was and if they could help me. I am sure we will return!

Great location next to the beach. Wonderfully clean, good food, decent entertainment for the kids and service to your lounger on the beach and not forgetting their own fresh cooked pizza oven too. Loved it would be again without a doubt.

This was our second visit to the Mitsis Rodos Maris Resort and Spa and chose this hotel again after having a great time last year. There seemed to be no UK tour operators at this hotel and the atmosphere this year was not as good as the hotel guests were mainly German. They were very loud and noisy especially in the bars and buffet restaurant and do not have any concept of queuing but just went to the front both in the bars and the Buffet. The drinks were awful not like last year. What ever you ordered Gin, Vodka etc all tasted the same especially if lemonade was added to the drinks. I ordered a Tonic Water and it was as though I had ordered lemonade. The drinks were also very weak. The food was wonderful as were the staff and some even remembered us from last year. The added bonus was the American Diner now served breakfast which was freshly cooked and served at your table by smiling friendly staff. We ate breakfast there every morning of our stay so well done Mitsis Rodos Maris for coming up with this idea. The staff were friendly and always smiling and could not do enough for you. They wanted to make sure you had a lovely stay. I think the staff are a huge asset to the hotel along with the hotels layout and its location right on the beach with a lovely beach bar and pizza station. Our room was on the ground floor and because of this we were plagued with ants. We went across to the Supermarket opposite and bought some spray which helped a lot. We would go back again.

The hotel was gorgeous, staff were very friendly and attentive to all your needs. Food was excellent and good variety of choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Cleanliness was impeccable. Would recommend this to my friends and family. Surrounding area was nice but need to get on local bus or train to find a little more in the way of shops etc. Great for a relaxing break.

Clean- rooms daily...complex maintained well. Plenty of food choices....if you can't find anything that suits you must be really fussy Staff very friendly, pleasant and helpful Drinks for an inclusive were good. Nice beach area with bar and pizza oven shack....good pizza Plenty of sunbeds Negative's Too many steps / ramps, you seem to go up to have to come down. More lifts or mobility friendly access restaurant / bar areas, (not ideal hotel if you have mobility issues.) Not enough communal toilets, Access the various restaurants for reservations through computerised system pot luck.....and unless your made aware of the booking process you cannot use the restaurants...….out of our weeks holiday we only managed to use the Asian one once, the others were constantly booked but when we walked past on many occasions there would be many vacant tables however when you enquired you were turned away as you hadn't got a ticket. Need to cater more for British....information was predominantly in German The positives did out way the negatives and we would stay again with this hotel chain.

Lovely mini break with girl friends staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble cocktails are fab.very well looked after by all staff Food is fantastic too.

pros nice beach and rooms pleasant good fresh food in a la carte restaurants only and fresh crepes and stone baked pizza cons unfriendly staff small pools if you want peace and calm not the place - noisy kids and many tourists

Fabulous service all round, staff are absolutely wonderful, the food is fantastic, such a wide variety so something for everyone, even the fussiest of people. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. you will not want to leave.
