Coningsby Inn

Clean,affordable close to island taxi hotel. Owner, Jeanette, very accomidating and friendly.

I felt a home at the Coningsby Inn.

The lady at the desk was friendly. Unfortunately, the area is not great (police everywhere, so it’s safe), businesses are still shut down from covid, immediate surrounding restaurants close by 3:00, the hotel restaurant is not open, and there’s absolutely nothing to do there. I was in my room watching Netflix by 4:00 and did not leave it till I could get on the first ferry out of town. If all you need is a shower and a bed for the night it’s fine. It is walking distance to the ferry, so there’s a convenience factor.

My stay an the Coninsby Inn was very pleasent. I only stayed for one night but the service and hospitakity were remarkeble. The owner herself helped me withe all the problems that occured regarding my departure. ou get a nice clean room with an AC for a very reasonable price in a decent neighborhood.

Worst hotel i have stayed in

The staff were lovely, however the rooms were old and dirty, and the neighborhood felt unsafe.

The staff was incredible. The definition of above and beyond they made our trip to Belize city what it was, perfect.

1 out of 5. Let’s start with the fact I’ve seen one employee at all and that was on check in. There is no one to get food from the kitchen here but it says they are serving from 6-11. Need water or something else good luck should have brought it. Do you need to find something, good luck should have brought it. Doors don’t shut all the way either.

The water was not working at all! And there was no shampoo and conditioner! The air conditioner was turned off when we got there, so the room was very hot. We ended up leaving 10 minutes after we got there because it was so bad. We are still waiting on our refund.
