It's close to the ferry terminal and downtown which is nice. Friendly host.
My overnight was great. The hotel is about 25 meters or a 3 minute walk to the seawall. The area is safe. I

The staff at Coningsby Inn was amazing, very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very tasty well prepared and at an affordable price. The beds were comfortable.

Coningsby Inn is being renovated. It's a friendly place to stay. The place needs work but the owners are trying. I'll stay there again.
USDuring our trip to Belize we stayed in San Pedro for most of the trip but came to the mainland for a 2 day tour so we needed to spend 1 night in Belize City. Let me begin with the positive - the staff were friendly! Now the not so positive - the rooms are adequate, but run down. At around 4am it seemed like there must have been a dog kennel next door because there was a chorus of dogs barking. I realize this is no fault of the Coningsby, but it was alarming regardless. Perhaps I'm a bit of a princess but this was not my favorite. I was so happy to be returning the next night to our San Pedro accommodations.
