Hotel Girasole

I just loved the owners and all the staff at Hotel Girasole, a lovely, historical and enchanting hotel with every convenience available. The location is within walking distance of the main center of town, Piazza Tasso, the staff cannot do enough for you. All are friendly and professional, and of course, the food is excellent! I loved all of them, especially the owners as well as Francesco, who was in charge of dining services. What lovely people and a beautifully maintained property. There is a beautiful outdoor covered patio, a large swimming pool area and beautifully maintained gardens. When we return to Sorrento, this is where we will stay.

Breakfast was very good Poolside bar and pool excellent ( although didn’t know before hand pool shuts @7pm🤦‍♂️

The hotel Girasole is a fantastic little gem of a place to stay in Sorrento. It’s a family run hotel. At first sight the hotel looks a little dated. But it is very clean and comfortable. The staff are absolutely amazing, and can’t do enough for you. The waiting staff are very attentive and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, a special mention to Antonio. The food served is very nice. With a good choice of continental breakfast, and a choice of 3 courses for the evening meal which you choose yourself at breakfast. As mentioned, the rooms are a little dated and could do with a little refurbishment in some areas, but this is by no means a negative. In fact it adds to the charm and atmosphere of the hotel. We stayed in room 33 which was at the back of the hotel facing the garden. We had the million dollar view as you could see Vesuvius from our balcony which was very impressive. As many others have mentioned, the hotel is in a very busy and noisy road. So if you did stay here would suggest you booked a room with a garden view. The hotel has a pool area which is again very clean and well maintained. Sorrento is about ab20 minute stroll from the hotel. So easy access to all the amenities of the town. If we visited Sorrento again. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. The owners and staff are amazing and make you feel very welcome.

Lovely traditional hotel, good breakfast and gorgeous pool area surrounded by lemon and orange trees. Excellent WiFi too. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and cleaned every day.

Slightly out of the main centre on a busy road but hotel made up for that with its traditional Italian charm, good facilities and great staff. Book a garden room to avoid the road noise.

Ideally situated for our son's wedding. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool, drinks and light snacks available. Bar downstairs very comfortable and reasonably priced drinks.

Everything was very satisfactory
