The staff was excellent — very attentive — and the view from the balcony was truly amazing.

The hotel feels like a place from the 1950s that was renovated around the year 2000. It’s not terrible, but it definitely feels outdated. The toilets had very low water pressure, the Wi-Fi was terrible, and in our room there were ants.

Return visit. Lovely small family run hotel. Food basic but good. Breakfast - Choice of cereals, yogurt, bread rolls, ham, cheese, salami, fresh fruit, eggs, toast, fruit juice and hot drinks. Dinner - Choice of 4 starters and 4 mains and 2 desserts. Only criticism is coffee at breakfast tastes instant. After dinner its batista. Small pool bar serving snacks as well as hot and cold drinks. Staff very helpful. Rooms traditional but comfortable. Air con/heating. Garden view rooms are lovely and block out traffic noise. Thank you, Rita and staff for a lovely welcome. Walk down to Sorrento is a little precarious due to narrow pavement and is a gentle 20-30 mins to main square. Taxi back is 25 euros for 1 mile!! Ask for Rm 33 or 44.

My husband and i had a great experience. A lovely hotel with exceptional customer service. The reception team were warm and so helpful they went out of there way to help. The balcony rooms offer fantastic views. I very restful happy stay. We will be back.

Unless you’re looking for a hotel for geriatric British pensioners, don’t come here. The hotel looked like it was built in the 1970s and hasn’t been updated since — including the mattresses. While the sheets appeared clean, the bathroom in particular was not. Similarly, the appliances in the bathroom were old, dirty, and had many sharp corners to cut oneself on. The included breakfast was quite bad — at one point I was served a literal rotten egg. While I cannot recommend another option, I have to believe there are better options for your money.

We stayed at this hotel for six nights. This is a family owned hotel. All employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The owner Antoniono and his son Mino treat you like a family. The rooms are good size and priced very reasonably, considering they are only 15 minute walk from the city center. Many rooms face the Bay of Naples with Mt. Vesuvious in the background. The bus stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Large grocery store is 10 min walk. Really good full breakfast is included and served either inside or outside in the garden. Dinner can also be ordered. Beautiful pool with a bar. Beautiful Orchard where you can stroll around and admire different fruit trees and vegetable garden. We really liked our stay at Girasole!
