good location , convenient

Quite a nice hotel, the staff speaks great English. However, I have never had to wait so long to check out. Why not simply ask for a preauth on the credit card for incidentals and deposit (like hotels worldwide) rather than requiring the guest to wait and wait and wait to check out. Overall though quite happy with the choice to stay here. Central and easy to get around. Lots of choices for coffee and food, both Chinese and Western cuisine. I would absolutely stay here again if I am in Ningbo.

A great deal on Last minute but a mix up about breakfast we booked this hotel with breakfast but had to pay extra, this was embarrassing. However, management handled the situation very professionally. The room could have been cleaner, there were toe clippings found on the floor - ewww! Bed was excellent, windows were dirty. They only provide one bottle of water per person per day.

I stayed before. Hotel is a little dated & needs refurbishment & new softer beds. Price/location/package is fair for cost but internet speed needs to be better. wifi never good as wired. Toaster broken @ breakfast but i commend chefs offering to make imm. I think Nanyuan hotel is very slightly better . Easy taxi ride to Old Bund; Western bars/Food/pubs etc.

Mostly clean hotel. The window need washing. The room didn't smell great - kinda like cigarettes. The carpet needed steaming. Bed was clean. Towels are clean. The lighting makes it look rather dreary.

Hotel is located in the center. From outside it looks a bit old, room was good, comfortable bed. Hotel offers transfer to the airport and railway station but when we asked for it 1 day before departure they told us it is too late despite the fact it was more than 12 hours till the departure so we used taxi next day.

Very close to downtown Ningbo. Slow internet. Lobby was fancy but the room was ok.

Hotel was ok, however, the service was bad. The Front Desk and Concierge are sorely lacking in training. This is supposed to be an international chain of hotels but the staff had a hard time communicating in English. Our supplier left a package for safekeeping at the front desk but it was not even properly recorded, it took almost an hour just to sort this out. How difficult is it to properly tag packages/parcels? They could have simply left a telephone message informing us that the package was downstairs. Lobby Attendants as well were the arrogant type of lazy personnel that would cluster amongst themselves rather than help with luggage. There is no pro-activeness. All in all, there is a serious issue with service, or the lack thereof.

I tried to cancel 2 days before I arrived and couldn't get anyone to answer my call or emails to cancel. then I get an email stating that I would be charged for the full amount even though I sent in an email stating that i needed to cancel. I still would like to have at least one day of my stay refunded since I tried to contact someone in plenty of time to have that cancellation made. You have terrible customer service!!!!!
