Crowne Plaza City Center Ningbo by IHG

I use to come to this hotel many times during years and the standard is always very high and kept. The hotel is very well managed and offer a lot of assistance and plus, and never take unfair advantage of its position, reputation, brand name or location.

I was very happy with the Crowne Plaza City Center Ningbo. The value was great, the room was clean and the hotel is in the center of NingBo. Communication with the staff was difficult at sometimes and the breakfast buffet was catered more toward the locals. Overall I was happy and would stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza Ningbo. Staff was helpful, though not everyone spoke English. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel was conveniently located for me, as I wanted to see the Tian Yi Ge. It was a short walk to see the Fenghua River or the Tianfeng Tower

Great, comfortable, convenient, functional stay. Plan to stay here again. A "knock off" mall is only two blocks away for easy shopping to bring back home!

Ideal hotel located close to the centre of ningbo lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Facilities excellent with helpful staff

Although they had a thermostat in the room, it only blew out cold air. Apparently, none of the rooms had heat available and our stay was in late november. For a five star hotel (or even a three star hotel) this is absolutely unacceptable

most westerners nightmare in china normally starts at breakfast time when you go into the restaurant and ask the chef who is cooking fried eggs "can i have a fried egg please" and you get a vacant stare back. so you point at the eggs and hope he understand what you mean but again you get a vacant stare back so you try this several times before giving up and leave frustrated. The crown plaza Chefs can speak English, there names are Gill (very friendly and helpful) Will and Bruce (i think), But they will approach you and in a very pleasant way ask if they can get or do anything for you. This and the added bonus of 90% of the Staff in Crowne Plaza speak English with makes your stay very pleasant. they cater in western food as well as Chinese, Great bar down stairs. The Floor managers in the restaurant can be a little patronizing when it comes to rules and getting your room number off you for the bill instead of letting you finish your breakfast or dinner first in peace. I also met the Hotel Manager, who now i notice all the time in the restaurant and lobby which is a very good sign. Over all, I stay in Ningbo at least two weeks per month and for the price of the Crowne Plaza and the Level of service you get i will defiantly be staying there from now on.

Excellent location....very good service....English speaking staff....very good break fast spread....highly recommended....AAAAA+++++++
